A GREAT FIND!....my new travelling companion!
This hand held steamer does what it says on the box.... heats up in no time, is easy to use and most importantly gets rid of the creases!I haven't had it long enough to give a very detailed review at this time, but what I can say is I am 100% happy with the results so far.Once it arrived I couldn't wait to give it a go so decided to try it out on my heavy cotton work uniform ( because it was the only thing in my wash basket at the time along with a very delicate dress.) Both results were excellent! The reason for purchase in the first place was because I travel a lot and need something light I can take with me to get the creases from my clothes without trailing a heavy iron about.I was sceptical about making the purchase at first as i was unsure which hand held steamer to choose. There are so many on the market ,the one thing that drew me to the Sterofii steamer was the fact it comes with a silicone glove.( This is very useful when dealing with hot steam....and no I didn't burn myself once )The steamer is a decent sizeLike I say, I haven't had it long enough to give a more detailed review at the moment so watch this space....i'll be back with an update soon...

Title: A great little steaming machine that is very simple to use: fill it- hold it- steam it
I have only recently bought this machine. I hated ironing, until I bought 3 machines that made such a difference to the whole process.14th February 2019: concentrating on this Handheld Garment Steamer: Model MW-801 steamer, I used it for the first time quite late last night on two pairs of trousers [still slightly damp & inside out] without any hitches. 1 Polyester mix; 1 Corduroy – that turned out really well. I pulled them into shape as I steamed. In the morning, both pairs were dry and beautifully steam pressed. The instruction manual and listings literature for this machine are fully explained. Any confusions I found/had, were interpreted very clearly by the seller [a family run business] which were of great help.I shall enjoy using this steamer on clothes; bedding; or covers on furniture that need a ‘steamed’ revival. It makes such a difference if you can give a quick steam to rid a blouse/shirt/jacket/trousers etc. of any wrinkles before wearing them. Or, after laundering. If you need a handheld steamer, then why not give this one a go as I did. I am glad I found it and am happy to recommend it to others.

An upright steamer will not work on the flat
An upright garment steamer but what I really needed was a traditional iron type. I use it to steam knitted items that need pinning to correct dimensions to bring out the patterns. One thing I don't like is that the water container cannot be emptied fully. This is a design fault because when turned upside down there are crevices where the water gets trapped. Despite shaking vigorously from side to side some water is impossible to remove and I would imagine start to smell musty if not used a lot. I have taken to making a wick out of paper towel to soak as much up as possible.

Steamer
It's more bulky than I thought but if you travel with a suitcase you'll be fine with it, it takes as much space as any additional piece of clothing (or two if you're a short person). In terms of effectiveness let's make it clear - it's not even close to even the cheapest proper iron. It handles really well with smaller wrinkles and if you want to just refresh your shirt there's nothing better. However, it takes ages to get rid of deep wrinkles from thick fabric. Anyway, it does the job, I'm quite happy with it.

It's an OK steamer, but not great for ironing.
What I liked:1. It's lightweight and can be used while I stand so no need to hunch over an iron.2. It heats up fast3. A full tank goes a long way4. It works great just to smooth out minor creasesWhat I didn't like:1. It's useless as a proper iron, and can't tackle proper wrinkles or creases.2. While it's lightweight and won't add much weight to your luggage, it will definitely take up space. Besides, most good hotels have irons anyways so why bother taking a steamer.

Good value, does the job, excellent customer service from the supplier, would order from then again
Easy to use, ready to use in seconds. Works better and was much better value than my previous steamer. Only gave it three stars for travel as it’s not as small as other steamers and it not dual voltage which isn’t a major problem for me.

Handy but not as fast as bigger steamers
This is a really handy tool, and it doesnt take up space, it looks nice, it heats up in a good amount of time. Really sweet sellers too! However this is not as efficient as a big steamer. Still useful to have though.

Handy gadget
This item is a useful gadget when getting the ironing board out is a chore.Made a very crumpled brushed cotton shirt look neat and tidy on the spur of the moment.
