DMP100-10 Deck Master Hidden Deck Bracket Kit

These work amazing - not a nail pop up at all. We used these about 15 years ago and decided that we would be building a deck off of our pool - and the hidden fasteners are great! Love them ~ still magical after all these years!

Used to attach an Ipe deck in HI. Delivered expeditiously to HI (thank you!). Works well for an installer, although it is impossible to predict how well it will fare over an extended time in damp conditions. It is possible to over torque screws attaching the deck through the holes in mounting brackets, so you need to be a little careful when screwing into decking. Other than that, it was far better than toe-screwing the decking onto joists. Brown color is a reasonable match for unfinished pressure treated wood, but not a color that matches any wood color known to man. Better than unfinished metal, but "sand" may be a more appropriate color moniker. The product can be overpainted if the color is bothersome (you don't really see it anyway). Be careful when ordering - there are several variants with almost identical packaging that are shipped with different length screws.

I was putting together a staircase on my deck and needed it to be screwed from underneath. This system worked great and I believe will provide many years of no maintenance. no issues with the install other than too much pressure on the screw will push it right thru the bracket. snug is all that is required.
