Fit trial and error as always
I received these pants yesterday so I haven't actually worn them yet. The fabric looks and feels wonderful, just the right weight and really stretchy, so I tried them on. I am really short at 5'1" but I have long legs so I don't normally buy petite in yoga pants. I weigh 103-106 lbs and have always worn either a small or X-small in yoga pants so I ordered a small. Of course they are too long, and I expected them to be, but thought they might shrink a bit in length. The fit of these pants is fabulous. Skin tight in the thighs and bum and the fabric is super stretchy so it's not uncomfortable but for me that's a problem.....I am cold if the temperature falls below 75 degrees so I like to layer my yoga pants over cuddle-duds. I live in yoga pants all winter and I live in Florida so there are many days when I don't need to layer. There is no room for layering with the fit of these pants and if they shrink in width at all they will no longer be comfortable or wearable. I like the feel and cut of these pants so well that I have ordered another pair in medium and will return the small if the medium gives me just enough room that I feel I can dry them in the dryer and still have room to layer. I'm sure they will be too long but I'll be hoping for length shrinkage and if not I suppose I can hem. They are really nice looking pants! Bought the small and waiting for the medium. One way or another I will keep one pair of these pants whether it's medium or small. They're that great. This is an update: The size small was (with the exception of length) a perfect fit. As I loved the pants but like to layer them over tights or cuddleduds I ordered another pair in size medium with the intention of returning the small. That the medium would give me enough additional width to layer them was my hope. I received the medium and yes, I can layer with that size and the cut of the pants is so good that even a bit large they still look good. I have now decided to keep both sizes and use the small for days when I don't need layers. I will wash and dry the small with care to avoid shrinkage but with the medium I will actually try to shrink them as they're a bit loose in the hips (I'm no Kardashian). Both will need to be shortened as inseam length seems to vary from pair to pair and is not dependent on size. The inseam in the small that I received was 32" and the inseam in the medium is 31" I have another pair of yoga pants (another brand) that fits perfectly in length and that inseam is 29". At only $19.99 ea. I have no aversion to keeping both sizes. These are really great yoga pants.

I Live in These Yoga Pants!
I love yoga pants. I'm a stay-at-home mom and basically live in yoga pants for a large portion of the year (I live in Wisconsin). As long as the pants look fairly decent, I have no problems going out in public wearing them and almost always run errands in them. I love to be comfortable and my post-baby figure loves yoga pants as well. Last year I bought some inexpensive yoga pants from a local store and I should've known they wouldn't last when they were see-through and ripped at the seams within less than a year. Obviously I was in the market for new yoga pants when I searched on here and came upon these. I hadn't known that Spalding made clothes; I only knew they made basketballs and shoes but I figured they were a good brand to take a chance on with these pants. For reference, I am 5'6", range from 160 to 165 pounds (depending on the day), and have average-length legs with athletic calves and thunder thighs. I have an inseam of 31 inches and usually wear a size 10 in jeans or a large in pants so I ordered the black pants in large for these. When they arrived, I tried them on right away to make sure they fit and they do! The pants are a great fit for me, good length and are very comfortable. They aren't too tight in any area so I don't feel self-conscious. These particular pants are a bootleg style so they are similar to bootcut pants in that they have some flare at the bottom. I like this style since they flare out over the tops of my shoes and slippers. The top of the pants has a wide waistband but not one of the foldover waistbands that were in most of my previous yoga pants. Personally, I find the foldover waistbands to be annoying since they never stay in place so I was thrilled to discover these pants. The tops of these pants sit at my belly button. There is a small logo on the left leg, near my upper thigh, which is usually hidden by my shirts. These pants are made in Vietnam of 92% cotton/8% spandex. Many reviewers have stated these pants shrink after washing and drying them so I make sure to take extra caution when washing them. The washing instructions say machine wash cold and tumble dry low. I typically wash these on a normal cycle with warm water and hang them up to dry since I don't want to take the chance that I will shrink them. I've had these pants now for about a month and a half and they are holding up great, as far as the length goes. On the first day I wore them after washing, they started pilling between my thighs since they rub together but since then, haven't gotten any worse and trust me, I wear these A LOT! I feel these pants are slightly see-through only if the material is pulled tight against my body. Otherwise, I hardly notice it at all. My panty lines show through too but I am typically at home or wear shirts that cover most of my rear so that doesn't bother me too much. I'm so happy I found these pants because I love them! They fit me well, are fairly soft, and very comfortable. They have held up well since I got them and the length hasn't changed at all since I decided to hang-dry them. These pants aren't super thick like sweat pants but they aren't thin either and I feel they are good for the price. I can wear them at home, while running errands and even out to dinner. I love them enough that I started with just the black pair and also purchased the navy and charcoal colors as well. I like the charcoal and black colors best since I can pair them with any color shirt but I regularly have the navy pair in my rotation too. If you are in the market for new yoga pants, I recommend purchasing these!

Great look, great price, inconsistent quality
I love the look and feel of these pants. They are my new favorite for yoga, workouts and just general lounge wear. What I like: -Mostly cotton with some spandex and I just like mostly natural materials -Excellent fit and I think very flattering to hips, buttocks and thighs -Reasonable price -Comfortable in every way -Versatile: I wear for all fitness activities and also for casual outings like running day to day errands Needs Improvement: -Poor stitching quality: I wore a pair once and the stitching in the legs already came apart and has a hole in it. It just happened with another pair after the fourth time wearing. This is an issue with my most recent purchase, so they may have switched manufacturing facilities because I've notice other quality issues (noted below) - Leg length inconsistent: I usually run right on the edge of having petite sizes be too short and buying regular sizes that need slight hemming, so I always just buy regular length pants. In the past they fit fine. Recently I purchased 4 pairs of these in a variety of colors (grey, black and blue) and all are different lengths. Two were the perfect length for me, one pair is so long it will need about 2 and 1/2" hemmed and the last pair needs about 1" hemmed. Very strange. The pros still outweight the cons and if you sew (I don't) I think they are really worth being a wardrobe staple even if the quality issues I noted are increasing. Those can be fixed. However, if I continue to order and get inconsistent leg length where I have to pay another $15 a pair to get them hemmed (avg. rate in my area) or pay to have the stitching fixed, the price is not really as reasonable as I will have to factor in getting these hemmed or repaired.

Love these -- they're everything I'm looking for. In pants, anyway.
I love these pants!! They fit great, look great, feel great. It often seems like a challenge to find pants like these, that check all the boxes of what you want in clothing like this. Here's what I was looking for: Basically, a good fit -- true to size, comfortable, appropriate length (I'm 5'8" and these pants are the perfect length), nice "give" (you know what I mean, they move with you, and when you sit down, it's not cutting into you here or there), and good quality. The color of these pants (charcoal) is truly accurate. They're not almost black, or actually grey. They're charcoal. And I like the material. They're kinda middle of the road. I consider them one of my lighter-weight pants (but not literally "lightweight," mind you). They're good for fall, winter, and spring. I actually do wear them in the summer (since I'm inside in A/C about 97% of the day) and they're fine. I wouldn't recommend them in hot weather, though, which is pretty obvious. (Although, if it's like in the 80s and not humid? These might be tolerable if you want to wear them. I have, but I tend to run cold.) I've had these for a while and worn them a lot. I'd say I've washed them probably 25-30 times, give or take, and they've held up well. The color hasn't faded or anything, and I've only noticed a little pilling, between the legs (So I don't have a thigh gap, so what? Not many of us do. Well, at least I don't think we do.) but it's not like it's wearing through or causing a hole or anything.) Long story short, I love these pants. I will definitely be buying more, especially at this price (they were about $20 when I bought them)!

Super comfortable!
Since it always drives me bonkers when I read the reviews and people simply say, "It was way too small. I ordered a medium!" and give absolutely no indication of their body type, I'll start with that. 5'4. 150. Longer torso, short muscular legs. As I said, I'm 5'4 with my legs being a bit on the short side and the medium pants are LONG. I had to hem them up about 2 inches, but considering that it involves about fifteen minutes with my sewing machine it really wasn't a big deal for me. They're not tight at all, but they fit exactly how you would expect yoga-style pants to fit. Not baggy, but not skin tight. Comfortable. SO COMFORTABLE. Yes, the fabric is thin. If you're going to wear these outside of the house, then wear a long shirt, or wear a thong (or nothing!) to avoid panty lines. I bought these about a year ago 12/2013 and they're still in great shape. Like I said, thin fabric. Don't expect much warmth. They're perfect for me in the house when there's a slight chill (~65 degrees fahrenheit. Yes. 65. I'm in LA. That's a slight chill to me), but I find them too warm in the summer when temps are above 85. It's hard to find comfortable durable yoga pants for $20, and I totally recommend them. Pros: Soft and comfortable, inexpensive Cons: Hemming required if you're a shorty, a bit too thin to wear outside.

Unflattering Fit & Thin Material
I have several pair of Spalding leggings and have been mostly satisfied with them given the low price. I also have a pair of their yoga pants which are comfortable and have held up well in the two or so years I’ve been wearing them. These pants, however, are somewhat of a disappointment. The material is thinner than expected based on my past purchases of Spalding gear and I don’t expect them to wear well. They’re comfortable enough for lounging around the house but the fit from mid-thigh all the way up through the waste is tighter than the other pair of Spalding yoga pants I have. The tightness combined with the thin material makes for quite an unflattering fit, which is why I say they’re fine for around the house. I don’t and won’t ever consider wearing these out of the house. If you’re looking for a cheap pair of sofa pants and you’re not picky about fit, these will work. If you want something cute and flattering to wear around town while running errands, these are not the pants you’re looking for.

Best Yoga Pants EVER!
These are the BEST Yoga pants EVER! I was first introduced to them after I happened to find a pair randomly at Ross one day. I wore the heck out of those things, to the grocery store, around the house, during tennis with my husband, when I took my dogs for a walk, etc... and after many washings and wearings I realized I had better get another pair. Unfortunately however, I was saddened to find that since Ross only carries random products, they did NOT have a second pair of these pants on their shelf. Turns out I had to take my search for the BEST Yoga Pants ever online to Amazon.com. With the brand name and the style number off the tag it didn't take me long to find the exact product I already owned for $19.99 on Amazon, which just so happens to be the same price I paid at Ross (what a DEAL!). So I ordered another pair and I wore the heck out of those as well. Even wearing them so often though, I must note that the color and elasticity of the fabric maintained itself very well. I could wear them for 5 days in a row after work and wash them once a week and they'd maintain perfect shape day after day. After I found myself pregnant with my first child, I ordered 2 more pair because I knew I'd want something comfortable to wear while my body was undergoing all the changes. Then, during the 7th, 8th, and 9th month of my pregnancy, when the belly bump drops and things start to get quite uncomfortable, these yoga pants SAVED MY LIFE! I literally wore them EVERY SINGLE DAY, but I made a new outfit of it by pairing them with cute Roxy sandals, a solid v-neck maternity top, and a white cami underneath to smooth things out. The yoga pant material was thin enough that I didn't get hot, even in the hundred degree heat of June, yet thick enough that it was flattering to my curves, despite my 50 pound baby weight gain. I currently own 6 pairs of these yoga pants in varying sizes, and they've all been SOOOOOO fantastic that I've even ordered and had them shipped to friends and family via Amazon.com. As for the sizing, when I wore a size 6-7 jeans pre-pregnancy I fit into the Medium yoga pants. When I wore size 8-9 jeans during early-pregnancy I wore the Large yoga pants. And during the later part of my pregnancy, and I assume for awhile after the baby is born also, I've worn the Extra Large size yoga pants mostly the entire time. These yoga pants took the guess work out of "what to wear?" everyday because they were comfortable, flattering, and paired with a different color top, I had a new outfit every time. Not to mention, they don't LOOK like gym clothes! They don't have stripes or huge obvious logos on them, so they just appear to be a casual pair of black pants, which I think are perfectly acceptable to wear out EVERYWHERE I go. Whether it's a restaurant, the grocery store, or a family function. I love them, and you will too!! PS. Please note, this is my first Amazon product review. I felt compelled to take the time to write this because, first of all, these pants are the best thing since sliced bread, and secondly, I'm an avid online shopper and I make ALL my purchases based on other people's good reviews. So here's hoping the men of the world come across my review, discover these awesome yoga pants, and buys them for every woman they know and love!

Cool in hot weather due to large cotton content.
My hips are 36 inches and the size MEDIUM fits perfectly. I am 5’6”and 135 pounds. I have worn this pant for four years ,this past month I went looking for a couple of replacements. This fabric is so perfect in warm weather. The fabric is a little thinner, but I don’t find that to be a problem. It wears very well I have had them for four years so they have been washed over and over again and they hold up. I hope this review helps.
