Perfect fit, works great!
The only problem I encountered was one bolt that sheared off when tightening...simply used one of the old bolts. Spins freely.

Worked great
I noticed that it came with a spacer washer for between the bearing and the pulley. If you look closely at the splines towards the bearing, they taper at the bottom edges, so I think the spacer is a must when installing. That might be why some are having trouble with the splines chewing up the pulley. The original mandrel was 4 bolt but the deck had an alternative pattern already drilled for 3 bolt mandrel.I'm so glad to have our mower working again.

Better than people are saying, but not quite "perfect."
I think it was well worth it. I'm reading a lot of reviews saying the spindle threads are bad, but it's supposed to do that. There are two notches pressed into the top of the nut that will deform the threads behind the nut as you tighten it. This deformation of the threads ensures the nut won't accidentally back off and send your lawn mower blade into a low earth orbit. Unfortunately, this also means you will have to replace it each time you replace the pulley unless you really want to get your sleeves rolled up and down and dirty to rebuild this thing. The casting looks really nice, but I have to wonder if they put enough silicon in the aluminum mix for it to remain strong and not fracture. We'll see. The appearance of the aluminum looks like it has large grain sizes which could indicate a likelyhood of breakage in the future. I'm only leaving 4 stars because the washers on the three fasteners are only split lock, which are not good for this purpose, and there's not enough surface area under the head of the fasteners to ensure it won't punch a hole right through the deck. I'm going to a hardware store soon and get some washers to make sure this thing lasts. ($1.50) I intend to post a video of the finished product. It only took me about two or three hours to swap out the pieces and reinstall the deck on my mower. Craftsman 1981 20 horsepower.

Keeps my tractor running
My lawn tractor is 16 years old and still going strong. The cost to replace my cutting deck is like $800!! No way I'm going to pay that, and no way I'm going to buy a new tractor if I can keep it going. So when the cutting deck spindles start to drag, this is what keeps things going. Easy to install, perfect fit. If you need a new spindle, take the time to clean your deck and give it a good spray with rust inhibiting paint - you can thank me later...

Sturdy. Easy to install. All the parts you need.
Once I was FINALLY able to remove the old rusty bolts from the broken spindle this one went on very easily. I feel it's very sturdy and it came with the hardware(screws) I needed for it. I was able to replace it myself. Would buy again if needed!

Worked like a charm
After replacing the spindle and pulley my lawn tractor sounded like nothing. Before it was ground metal and horrible noise. When the spindle and pulley were installed it was music to my ears. Blades engaged nicely and the grass looks beautiful. It was very easy to install. I would highly recommend this part.

Would not recommend unless you have time for returns
The pulley pictured in the listing is not what you get. You get the cheap black ones, made of lightweight aluminum, that fall apart in minutes. Two out of three assemblies had pulleys that stripped teeth in less 20 minutes of mowing a maintained lawn.Nothing stops these pulleys from slipping then stripping. I've included pics of the two best pulleys post use. They weren't even on long enough to collect debris.Found pulleys locally that are heavy (like the listing actually shows) and the spindles seem great with this additional purchase. Now, we can mow hours without issue but would not have been able to do so without replacing the pulley on each assembly. We should have just got spindles and not assemblies.
