Marvel Heroes and Villains: The Poster Collection (Insights Poster Collections)

I loved the Avengers so I didn't hesitate to order this poster book when it turned up while searching. This is much better quality than I have ever seen in a poster book before, which explains the higher retail price. The pages are not traditional poster paper (e.g. thin and easily torn). The book is made of heavier, glossy card stock-type paper. And though this said 40 images, I fully expected them all to be images I had seen before. Happily, that is not the case!First, the book captures images from all the Phase One films, not just Avengers, and also Iron Man 3. And these are nearly all character shots - very few scenes from the films. Second, not only was there a new image of Loki as in Avengers (no small feat considering his rabid fan base and the proliferation of pictures of him), there was full-length solo shot of Odin, and also solo shots of Heimdall and Sif. The Mandarin also has a stunning portrait. I was a little disappointed that some characters didn't make it into the book, however. There are no images of the Warriors Three. And since the actor playing Banner changed from the solo film to the Avengers, they chose to include 2 posters of the Hulk as seen in Avengers. I would have liked to see solo pics of Norton AND Ruffalo as Banner. Both did well with the character. Finally, Agent Maria Hill got a full page, but Agent Coulson didn't rate? Odd.Despite the missing characters, I still think this is a great book and well worth the purchase. One thing to consider though, if you are planning to hang and display the images you may want to buy two copies. This is laid out like a normal book, with double-sided pages. So, if you pull the posters out to display, you'll only be able to show half the images. Overall, highly recommended.

This book was much larger than I expected (that's what I get for not reading the product description!), and I have to say that I love it! The individual posters are printed on heavy paper, and they seem like they'll be pretty durable. My only trouble is that the single poster of Sif is on the reverse side of the Hawkeye poster that I wanted to hang. Decisions!!

Really great book featuring beautiful pictures & posters from the films ready for framing. My only true complaint is that the pages are double sided, so if you would like to frame them you have to either choose between which picture you want the most, or buy 2 copies (which I did).

This product was really good and has really good posters. One thing to bear in mind id that the posters are double sided so you cant use all at once.

Yes, okay, so I am a *bit* of a fan girl when it comes to these movies, the characters, and the actors who portray them. The posters are printed on a fairly durable glossy card stock and they are easy to remove from the book if you wish to hang them. As the posters are double-sided, I would recommend purchasing two copies of this book if you plan on putting the posters up for display!

Die Poster haben eine ziemlich gute Qualität und es sind teilweise neue Bilder, die ich in dieser Form noch nirgends gesehen habe. So weit, so gut. Aber wo ist Agent Coulson? Wo ist Bruce Banner? Sicherlich hätte doch Hulk's Alter Ego ein Poster verdient, oder? Und bei den Bösewichten fehlt Johann Schmidt. Vielleicht hätte auch The Abomination aufgenommen werden sollen, genauso wie Obadiah Stane.Für Iron Man - Fans: ein Muss. Tony Stark ist auf gefühlten 50% aller Poster zu sehen.Für Captain America - Fans: es lohnt sich. Cap beansprucht mehrere Seiten und die Motive sind auch nicht 08/15.Für Thor - Fans: ganz okay. Der große Blonde ist anständig vertreten, aber nicht unbedingt mit innovativen Portraits.Für Hulk - Fans: Finger weg. Ihr kommt hier definitiv nicht auf eure Kosten.Für Black Widow - Fans: Kaufen. Keine neuen Bilder, aber hier macht's die Masse.Für Hawkeye - Fans: nicht herausragend, aber wenigstens zwei gute PortraitsFür Loki - Fans: lohnt sich nicht. Zwei Poster, davon ein altbekanntes Motiv. Außerdem befinden sich beide Bilder in Vorder- und Rückseite auf einem Blatt. Ungünstig für den, der beide Motive aufhängen möchte.Ansonsten ist Nick Fury vertreten, Maria Hill, Odin, Heimdall, Sif und noch ein paar andere. Ich persönlich hätte auf die Filmplakat-Motive verzichten können und hätte mich eher über ein vernünftiges Red Skull-Portraits gefreut. Von daher ein bißchen langweilig konzipiert, das Ganze. Trotzdem bereue ich den Kauf nicht. Die Kollektion ist den Preis wert.

Una trovata molto intelligente per chi,come me, é appassionato. Peccato devo dire per certi poster abbastanza inutili come ad esempio l'agente carter, avrei preferito trovarne dentro almeno uno di Pepper. Bruttini quelli di Hulk cosìcosì quelli di loky, ottime le locandine dei film
