Perfect for refretting vintage instruments
Perfect for refretting vintage instruments, this wire is very similar to the material used for standard frets in the 1960's. It's high quality nickel and silver, so it's relatively soft compared to the stainless steel used in jumbo frets nowadays. I used it to refret the first 12 frets of a 1964 Italian-made EKO Florentine 360/2V electric guitar. It pefectly matched the original frets with its 9.5' radius. Each 8" length yields 4 frets, so one package produces 40 frets or about three fret jobs. Excellent quality!

It's fret wire and it works like it's supposed to
What can I say? It's fret wire and it works like it's supposed to. Way better than using nails, I'll tell you that. I've been using a .023" kerf saw and the frets have a nice friction fit. Get some mini files and a cheap saw and make your own necks/guitars

I like the size
I'm trying my hand a fretting cigar box guitar necks. These were much easier to adhere than smaller sized ones purchased previously. Size does matter...
