Worked like a charm, didn't need the rubber bands
These heat sinks worked great and reduced the temperature on my two Samsung 980 Pro 1 Terabyte SSDs by over twelve degrees centigrade. They were installed vertically on my motherboard, and I did not need to use the included rubber bands to help the heat sinks adhere to the SSD.

Works Well
I am using this on a Sabrent Rocket 2TB, which is a 2-sided drive. The drive sits under a hot GPU and suffered from thermal throttling on random writes. Even though the heatsink is only attached to one side, it has dropped idle/load temperatures from 37C/64C to 32/54C. This is enough to get rid of the thermal throttling and bring performance back to what was expected. Installation was easy. One confusing thing about this 2 pack is that it only comes with 1 set of wipes. I do worry about the heat breaking down the rubber bands over time.

Great value and performance, but how long will those bands last?
I mounted these to my two CORSAIR FORCE Series MP510 480GB NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 SSD Solid State Storage, Up to 3,480MB/s drives in my Cooler Master HAF XB EVO Test Bench Desktop Computer Case. At idle, my drives are between 30-32C. During a 1GB x5 CrystalDiskMark test, they run about 42-44C. I believe these heatsinks help keep the temps down on my M.2 drives, but I worry about the longevity of the rubber bands, especially in a hot environment. I will report back when they fail. I gave them 5 stars anyway because of the price. Another set or two of bands would have been inexpensive to include... another 2-6 bands should have been included in the package, even if it raised the cost $.50 or $1. I'm sure my rating will change when they fail but for now, we're all good.

Rubber bands suck
Literally all six bands that came with this to hold on the heatsink have broken. I'm not sure what to do now because I'll have to find some other way to clip the heatsink on. Decent quality aluminium and heat pads but the bands just suck, pretty much rendering this thing useless.

Lowers temperature and looks great!
I installed this on my WD SSD Black, and it keeps the temperatures down. I have a first gen WD M.2 Nvme drive and it was running hot before I put heat sinks on it. I had some silver heat sinks laying around, so I have been using those since I bought the WD M.2 drive and it started overheating. The silver heat sinks worked great but they don't look that great with my setup. These black M.2 heat sinks keep the heat down and they look great installed on both of my M.2 drives

Excellent Performance for the Price
This is a no frills, no name brand heatsink dual kit. I have one slapped on a Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVME and the other a ADATA M.2 Sata. It works just like it should. I saw temp drops but nothing off the charts, roughly 7-8 degrees based on my software's reads. Its extremely easy to mount, the heat pad is a perfect fit, and had no blemishes. The price and value are amazing compared to some of the competitors with a better know name brand. If your a brand snob go spend double or triple for quite possibly the same exact result.
