Perfect for roasting
I love infused coffee! I literally love it so much that I create my own flavors of coffee. This takes about 20 mins in the roaster. Coffee beans roasted.

This was a great way to roast my first coffee beans
The media could not be loaded. This is a great beginner roaster. The directions are brief so there is a little trial and error. I don’t believe I let my first batch toast long enough in the burst stage for fear they would be too dark. Next time I will take a small amount of beans and experiment to get the roasting time perfect. I spoke to an experienced roaster and he said to wait a week before grinding my coffee. I did make a cup the following morning and it was a little weak, but still good so I’m pleased. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to becoming more proficient at roasting my own coffee beans.

So disappointing
Was so looking forward to using this. Straight out of the box, it did not work. the spinny thing worked, but no heat at all. let it "heat up " for ten minutes. But nothing, let it go another ten minutes still nothing. in the very difficult to read and understand directions and troubleshooting section, its almost like they plan on it not working. Says that if it does not get to temp, then its the thermostat and to take it apart and they will send you another one and a video on how to repair it. if it does not heat at all, to take it apart and see if any wires are disconnected and put them back together. For the price you would think the product would just work. Instead I ordered a pop corn popper that gets to same temp. with a a little stirry thing for half the price. Again............so dissapointed.

Not ready for prime time
500 gm model. Used once and returned. I've been home roasting for 15 years and finally burned out both my Behmor (DON'T buy that) and also my gas bbq grill with hand cranked rotisserie basket, so I know what I'm doing. Didn't want to pay $250-$500 for a roaster now that I'm on fixed income.I always assume capacity of anything is 1/2 what it says. So I did a test batch of 228gm. I followed the instructions exactly. Checked surface temps and found them exactly what the dial said they should be. One for the + column. But I could tell the beans weren't being mixed well. Honestly, it might've worked better with a full 454 gm (1lb) but I doubt it. So I started picking it up and giving a quick shake every minutes up to about 8 minutes, when I started to see color change. Mostly I was shaking it every 20 - 30 seconds. Until I dumped the beans onto my cookie sheet to cool (I always roast outside here in CA). The beans were so uneven...some burned, some at a city+ (light) roast. It was so mottled I just dumped the beans in the compost can and sent this back.
