Don’t let ur kids back talk
I bought this for my brothers teen kid who has been acting tough and gangster. Who has disrespected his mother countless times. Being grounded didn’t work taking his PlayStation didn’t work taking his Jordan’s didn’t work a whopping with a belt didn’t work calling the police hasn’t worked. But when we held him down in front of the police to Discipline him that was pure joy for me. 3 licks to his wanna be gangsta ass made him sound like a 9 year old girl. Keep in mind he’s 13. When I seen my sister in law arm in the air with this wood punishment contraption I smiled with joy. As me and my brother held him down me holding his legs and my brother hugging him face to face like he was going to suplex him. I saw in slow motion as the paddle was nearing his ass when the paddle hit his gangsta butt cheeks the sound he made will forever bring me joy. Let’s just say he listens to his mom and when she recalls that glorious moment fear enters his little girlish gangster heart.

Better used for beginners
Great price came in a timely manner but wasn't as sturdy as I thought broke farely easy on the first time using it.

Wonderful motivator, although I really do not believe in spanking a child hard. Remembering the days of yore when you could take "licks from the principal" or suspension, figured it would be a good thing to show grandkids and remind them that sometimes the punishment will work. I sometimes think that the easy approach and talking tactics do not work at teaching a lesson and correcting bad mischief are as effective as the paddle was. Was a little concerned tht it can only be purchased in the "adult" section!

Great discipline tool!
Very light! Solid wood with no cracks or chips. The handle design could fit the palm a bit better but its not for comfort.
