Lord, Heal My Hurts: A Devotional Study on God's Care and Deliverance

I bought this book as I am going through some discipleship at my church. I like how much I've learned but I do feel like it is more for a group setting. I am doing it on my own but have gotten so much out of it and have some big heart questions answered. God has definitely used this book.

I got this book as a replacement for the one I had. I bought it used but still in good condition. It didn't bother me there were a few notes written in it and a couple spots highlighted. I love this book and it has been such a help through my journey with God. I love that it has me read the Bible daily and actually think about things instead of a devotional where it just tells me the verse and what to take from it. If you're searching for healing this a great place to start!!

We had gone through a serious family rift and were very hurt by it. This book helped us get back to trusting God and His healing of our hearts. Excellent Bible study!!! I will be rereading this book again & again.

Kay Arthur studies are amazing, I love this study. College level, lots of study time but you will know the Bible better when it's finished.

Kay Arthur is a great author and navigator through God’s word. This study will make you spend time in the word and Kay is great about sharing relatable stories. She has a book for anything you are going through and the Bible has God’s word regarding anything you could possibly go through. This was my first Kay Arthur book and I have quite a few. I have purchased her books for others when I know they are having a rough time. You will not be disappointed.

As the Lord started to change my life, a dear friend of mine gave me this book. I wasn't a devotional kind of person so I wasn't looking forward to it. However, from the first page until the last, this book made the transition easy from my old dark, broken self into the new creation God had turned me into. That was 3 years ago. Since then, whenever I have an issue or have someone hurt me, I know where to go without hesitating, My Jehovah Rapha! I have given this book to several of my friends as well so they can experience the same healing power as I have. This book really teaches you how to let go of the past and look to your new life, walking and living for God without those old pains and burdens on your shoulders!

I went through this study 20 years ago. I remembered how valuable it was to so many in my group. Precept ministries, Kay Arthur, put out wonderful studies and help the participant get in to God's word in a way that you really gain so much biblical insight and understanding that you would not gain just reading the Scriptures for your self. Highly recommend the video teaching that go along with the study. I cannot convey enough how transforming the "Lord series" studies are through Precept Ministries. I found this book by " accident". The title of the book has been my actual prayer to The Lord, but I didn't know what to do or where to begin.The book began a journey in God's word that dealt with years and years of mess in my heart. God spoke to me and said that it wasn't about the condition of my heart, but the POSITION of my heart. When I turned around and positioned my heart towards God, my life began to change. It's a tough road to come face to face with what needs to be changed, but the fruit of it all is peace, joy and blessings.

The price was great and book was in excellent condition. I would buy from this seller again. Im only part way through the book so cant rate the actual content as yet but have been told it has been extremely helpful to others I know.
