I have a 7x2CC cage for my guinea pigs, this so called 14 ltr bag only thinly covered about a 3rd of it. Although it’s great and soaks up and masks the smell of the animal waist it’s just not worth the price for quantity. Perfect size bag for a hamster cage I’d say.

Perfect, keeps the odour from our hedgehog to a minimum and looks natural. Is easy to clean and hedgie seems to find it very comfortable

The size is a lie. I bought this because it claims it’s 14L. 4 more than the ones they sell at pets at home but upon arriving there’s no way this is 40% bigger than the ones they sell at pets at home.

I recently purchased this and yes it is good bedding, but no way is this 23L. I only gave 3 stars because of the amount of bedding in the bag. It's the same size as my 10L bag of exactly the same stuff. It's Expensive for the amount you get, when a 10L bag is much cheaper for the same amount of bedding.

I just bought this bedding two months ago and they have raised the price by $4 so I wanted to take one star off. Otherwise I would give this 5 stars for the quality and price! But still ended up giving 5 stars because of the quality. It says it stops odors for 10 days & I went up to 7 without any odors! I went with plain fleece bedding before and a litter box it would use occasionally but I recently switched to making half of his cage bedding and half fleece liner. The fleece liner wasn’t cutting it and helping with the odors even after washing every week. Wow I just love this bedding and having an odor free home while enjoying the company of my Guinea Pig. Plus my boyfriend has stopped complaining about the smell, Thank God! I usually mix up the bedding daily so some parts get used and other parts have time to dry. I notice the bedding dries quick because I don’t see much wet spots often. I love this stuff, can’t say it enough. I will purchase from chewy.com since they sell it for a much lower price!

I’ve been using Carefresh bedding for a while now, and it’s always been a good experience. It’s soft! My hamster loves to pouch little pieces within her enclosure to take and fluff up her burrow where she like to sleep. I do the subscribe and save option to ensure my hamster has a bag each month. I included photos of the 23 L bag I order each month. I do a mixture of various substrates, so this amount is perfect to last the month between spot cleanings and enclosure cleanings. As you can see, the purple is not nearly as dark as depicted in the listing photo- it is much lighter. This doesn’t bother me, it’s a very lovely light purple! Just keep that in mind in case your order this color and want the darker purple pictured.
