Awesome Keto diet substitute for white and brown rice grains or mashed potatoes
I have recently had great success on the Keto diet as suggested by Dr Berg, and have been searching for grain substitutes for white and brown rice. Fonio grain was one of a handful of low glycemic indexed, gluten-free, nutrient-rich grain suggested by Dr Sebi. The real tricky part was finding a trustworthy source to buy Fonio in the UK until I came across Ashanti Grains on Amazon. I received my order today and prepared this meal as suggested on the package. I added a teaspoon of Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter, and had the most delicious meal to date, it has a lovely aroma and can be served as a healthy substitute for mashed potatoes or rice. I’ll definitely reorder.

Great product
Great product, can be microwaved in minutes to make a porridge. Quite expensive as shipping is 2.95

For gluten free diets this is epic. Love it!
Value for price is the same as a £1 microwave bag of rice. Taste is neutral but pleasant. I have literally been looking for a gluten free cous cous alternative and this tastes exactly like i remember cous cous tasting 20years ago. Better still the recommended portion size is actually too much for me (i am a foodie so thats hard to do). I used boiling water at the ratio recommended and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Add oil but be warned it soaks up oil like a sponge! Love this!!! Just need to find it in 5kg bags because its great for lunches and salads.

Awful Stuff
I wanted to try something new that wouldn't affect my food intolerances, so I thought I would give this a go:For wheat, gluten and soya free - this ticks the box.For making you gag at every mouthful - this ticks the box.

A must have for gluten free diet!
I’ve got Celiac disease and I’m in love with this product! It’s so quick and easy to cook, absolutely delicious, reminds me of couscous but much more digestible! Love it cooked fried with some vegetables and eggs. I wonder why it’s not in every supermarket! Much better than Quinoa! A must have for gluten free!Would definitely recommend it!
