Increased noise = increased accuracy - you choose.
I have recently fitted the Ulta-Nok XL to my bow after having a lot of issues aligning my peep sight and trying to stop the fitted string D loop from moving. This has had an immediate postive effect on my accuracy - I am now achieving 5" groupings at 50 yds. It is re-assuring to clip my release onto the metal D loop...you can really tell it is firmly gripping the loop, and my consistency of shot placement has also improved. However : 1. The bow makes a bit more noise - but as I am into 3D rather than Hunting, not a problem for me. 2. I have a concern that this may be crushing / damaging my bowstring, even though it is of course clamped to the serving, not the string itself. Time will tell how or if this is an unwanted side effect of using this type of product. I have used a bit of loc-tite to prevent the small screws from coming loose. 3. To make up for the extra weight of this item, I have tightened the limb bolts an extra turn. 4. There is no doubt there is an increase in vibration with each shot.So on balance, it is early days but I am pleased with the accuracy and security that the ultra -Nok XL provides. I think my confidence will improve over months of incident-free usage, and I will add to this review in 6 months time with an update.

too noisy
After putting one of these on my young son's bow to make it easier for him to attach his release, I put one on my Mathews Heli-M. The goal was to ensure my peep lined up perfectly every time. Shot this setup for more than a month. It was terrible. Regardless of how you set the spacing for your nock, it's still metal and hard and therefore affects accuracy much more than a string loop, which is soft. What's worse is that regardless of how much you tighten it (which of course destroys the serving), it still vibrates incredibly noisily on every shot. So my expensive bow all of a sudden became loud and inaccurate. Took it off tonight and put a string loop back on and, you guessed it, quiet and arrow groups back to touching in bull. It's just a matter of paying attention to the string loop to make sure the peep lines up. But that will be well worth it.

Doesn't fit X Nocks
Seems nice. Definitely flattens the string, but that has to be obvious to the user. My complaint is that it didn't fit my x nocks, leaving a lot of slop. FYI, the Ultra Nock Standards didn't fit either.I like the principal of these as I can move them as desired during tuning, then place a string D Loop if I want...which was my plan. However, you can't shoot if your arrow isn't secure.

Disappointed, came apart on a trip
Well it started off great, enjoyed the sturdy feel of the metal Nok and it was very easy to grab hold of. However, I took the bow out to the desert on my quad bikes and apparently the vibrations must have loosened the screws on one side. After a few shots I noticed a screw had fallen off and eventually one entire side came loose rendering it unusable. Was very disappointed to say the least. I gave it 2 stars because it seemed like a great product until it came apart. Wish that wasn't the case..

Not the actual company that make the nock
The nock itself is great but I got the wrong plates with mine had to call q.a.d to get the right ones

pretty easy to install
pretty easy to install, however the screws are very tiny. I would not use on my bow, however it worked well on my daughters.

One of the Best Nok's out there.
This is an awesome nok, easy to install yourself (caution there is a lot of little parts) and performs beautifully. If you have never used one get it, you won't want anything else afterwards. Get the XL if you think your release is of the bigger type. Don't settle to save a dollar or two.
