Wonderful product.
Our hummingbirds are here year round and I wanted to make sure they had a food source year round. This item kept the food from freezing and probably made it easier for the birds to consume. They were at the feeder a lot. I love that. I am grateful for this product.

Keeping little Millie fed this winter.
This is my second overwintering hummer here in Mississippi. Many years ago I had a little girl we named Martha spend the entire winter. We had a heat lamp outside our kitchen window but at night we brought the food in for the night and got it right back out at first light. She caused a stir here and Bob Sargent came and trapped her and banded her. We named her Martha after Mrs. Sargent. Then someone from Miss. State came just to see if she was really here. So, she spent the winter with us and flew around the house a hundred times a day. One day in a bad snow storm she was fighting just to get some nectar and that was quite a sight. Happily, early spring another little bird showed up. I know she had to be happy. So this year I was surprised to see another little girl hanging around. I bought this little heater because we have had the nectar freeze solid already. So far, so good. It has been about 26 degrees and still good for her. So, now Millie is here for the next few months and she will make the winter much more enjoyable for our family. The little heater works nicely. I bought some extra 7W bulbs just in case we blew a bulb. She seems happy and we are happy. Good purchase.

Don't understand the negative reviews
Sure, it is pricey, but in my opinion, someone put a bit of effort into designing and creating this, and I'm happy to pay for it. I also could NOT find anything even remotely similar. It fits well on the rather saucer-shaped feeder I use. I live in Texas and during the recent "snowpocalypse" had to rig something similar to this with towels, duct tape, wire ties and a night light on an extension cord. This is far superior. I may not need it for a LONG time, but I'll be glad I have it when I do.

Works well up to a limit
This is a fine product, easy to set up with outdoor extension cords and a true lifesaver for the hummers that don’t migrate, like our Annas in the PNW and the little ones too old or sick to leave. Do be aware that it only works down to 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

My hummingbirds appreciate this perfect light
Easy to install, came with extra light bulb. With 27 degrees, the light keeps food from freezing and provides a little heat for my hummingbird. Fits perfectly. Only thing I would change is, I would like to have switch to turn on and off. Instead I unplug at night and plug in first thing in the morning so it's defrosted by the time they come to eat. Hope this helps. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

Grossly overpriced for the quality of materials
Shame on me for not more thoroughly examining the reviews for this product. It very well may perform as promoted-- it is a Christmas present and yet to be tested. A reasonable price for a product of this manufacture quality would be $12-$15. I was tempting to return it, but chose to write it off as lesson learned. I would encourage potential buyers for a hummingbird feeder warmer to look for products with better value for their money.

Super happy I found this!
This item popped up on my recommended list recently and I immediately ordered it. We have extreme cold snaps sometimes, and I have to find creative ways to keep my feeders from freezing for the Anna's hummingbirds. This product (at least the one I received), is 3D printed, but very high quality! I have the Hummzinger feeder that it's pictured with and it fits on perfectly. The light fixture is protected from rain/snow and is a lot safer than mounting a shop light outside. It also came with a red disc that was a bit of a mystery. The instructions didn't mention it, so I went to the website. Turns out it slides around your feeder's mounting hook to cover the top of the ant moat. This keeps it from freezing and provides extra insulation to keep the nectar thawed.I'm extremely happy with this product, and definitely recommend it to anyone who feeds hummers in cold climates!

Cheap plastic with bad setup instructions
Seems like a lot of money for a cheap plastic contraption. Having a hard time putting it together due to bad instructions.

Very expensive for what you get
Works well. No frozen bird juice when temp dropped to minus 5. Clips on feeders that must have a perching rail all around. Way too costly
