The test were done on 3 categories: food, nutrients, and environmental. In each test the aim is to list those items that may cause harm to our bodies. The items are ranked into 3 levels from highest intolerance (to avoid for 60 days) to the lowest (15 days) plus a normal level that it’s ok to consume or be exposed to. I love to drink tea an feel good after drinking it and naturally it’s at the normal level. I love cheese too but I often had that funny feel in my stomach after eating it. Cheese is categorized as level 3 red in this test. Another example is rubber, I can’t take the smell, long exposure makes me nausea. As expected it’s a red level 3 in environmental test. The results are very comprehensive and they offer a good reference points on what to avoid to have a healthier and better life. I believe we can always live better. The test is easy, just purchase the kit and send 15 strands of your hair. It’s non-evasive at all. And for less than $100 I think this test is a steal.

This test has guided me into the right direction. After receiving my results, I bought some protein powder for my Amino acids because they came up low. Started taking an iron supplement and also ate more things to bring other levels up. I got my blood drawn six months later and nothing was low! In my opinion, accuracy for me was great!

I was so excited about this test. I was feeling not the best and am currently going through menopause. I got the results after taking this test and loved the app etc. it seems very informative. I also happened to get bloodwork done at my Dr’s request. My results showed a severe vit d deficiency. But the 5Strands test showed no issues at all with this vit. Very disappointed and feel like it was a waste of money. I will go to the dr from now on for health information moving forward. I would like to say though that this brand has an amazing dog allergy test that changed my dogs life! It indicated all of his allergies and we changed his food and all his issues cleared up.

I ordered two different tests and received them promptly. It was easy to do and the results are very interesting. I am not sure about some, but others I know are pretty accurate. The tests give me a good guideline for better health, and I am glad I purchased them. Thank you.

The results takes forever! That’s the only thing I don’t like about this system, but this is my second time using it.

List was impressive, and the fact that you can sort it different ways helps find your problem items quickly. I am uncertain of its accuracy because I did not notice any change in my body eating per its recommendations.

Proven accurate at least for me. I wanted a comparison to find an economical accurate nutrition test that I could do twice yearly, to avoid wasting money on supplements I may not need. At the same time as this test, I took my usual $500 Spectracell cellular micronutrient test, which tests nutrients in the cell, rather than just in the blood. Was amazed when this test at less than 1/5 of the price, came back with results almost identical. Shipping was fast, results fast, no lab visit required and their customer service was very good. I am sold, twice a year for me - no more blood draws!

All my life I was always conscious of what I ate and also took my multivitamins. I had no idea that my multivitamins weren’t really helping! It shocked me to learn that for some reason, my body wasn’t absorbing magnesium very well. And guess what, my multivitamin barely gave me the amount of magnesium that I needed! And when I researched foods, it was in most everything that I ate, but still no where enough what I needed to take daily. So I immediately bought a magnesium supplement…and believe me…I have never felt better! Who knew that I was low in magnesium probably my whole life. Well worth the purchase

En ce qui me concerne décue, je savais déja que plusieurs produits je réagissais et il n'ont pas ressortis dans les intolérances en rouge ni en jaune. Pour moi, en tout cas, pas concluant. Ca c'est seulement mon opinion personnel. Pour cette raison je donne 3 étoiles, parce que je croyais que mes intolérances connues allait ressortir dans le test.
