A Faulty Unit?
Lit when plugged in, flashed a few times then went out. No illumination even in a dark room. Returned for refund.

Potential Fire Risk
My mother purchased on of these some time ago. A bit concerned that it could represent a fire risk as the fuse compartment has partially melted. The plug is 'Rated' at 3100W, but I would be very cautious about plugging anything more than a 60W light bulb in to the socket!
