Nihongo So matome Listening Chokai JLPT N3 2CD

I passed the JLPT N3 this past year, through using this series even though I did not complete all of the books. I did a lot o the listening practice in this book and I also watched a lot of Let's Play videos on YouTube in Japanese and listened to Bilingual News (a bilingual podcast in Japanese and English). I think the listening portion of the JLPT N3 was easier than some of the listening activities in this book though. I definitely suggest working through some kind of JLPT books if you are planning to take the test, because having a Japanese major and going to Japan for a few months to study will not guarantee you know the material on the test nor that you'll pass it.
