I have worn out several ice cream scoop in my lifetime. The last one literally broke when I tried to press ice cream. Tired of cheap crap, I got decided to find a quality ice cream scoop. Noting the life time guarantee, I purchased the Munlex Ice Cream Scoop about 2 mounths ago and have been using it just about daily ever since for cookie dough and ice cream. It is fantastic!WHAT IS IN THE BOX: Beautifully presented in a lovely gift box, I received ice cream scoop made from 304 Stainless steel material (is the most solid material for kitchen ustensils).WHAT I LIKE: I have been using this ice cream scoop for two mounths everyday and it looks as nice today as it did when I bought it. It shows absolutely no signs of wear.This scoop feels solid and durable in my hand. Use has proven it so.The stainless steel construction allows me to wash this in the dishwasher and I do. Every time I use it.Because I am no longer replacing my scoop every couple of years, I will save money.This scoop works for ice cream as well as cookie dough.I am normally wary of rounded handles like this because they can hold water when washed. I have NEVER had any water issues with this scoop.WHAT I DON’T LIKE: I love this ice cream scoop. I have not had a chance as of yet to use it for cookie dough nor ice cream (which was NOT why I ordered it) HOWEVER, I used it to fill a mini muffin pan and was very satisfied with how well this scoop worked. I know it's going to last a long time b/c of how it is made and the ease when using it for what it was intended for my needs. Thank you Munlex from a happy camper!

I used it for the first time to make Christmas cookies to gift and it derailed when I used it to scoop my hot cocoa cookie battery. It was the last batch of cookie dough and held me back trying to fix it. Had to go to local grocery store to pick another scooper so I can finish.Update 12/28/18: this company cares about their customer and reviews. After they read my review they reached out immediately and shipped me a replacement so fast. I will definitely recommend to give this product a test. Maybe the one I received originally was a lemon, just like a lemon car, there will be one in a bunch.

Unfortunately the release lever inside the scoop malfunctioned on the first one shipped to me. But the GREAT news is the customer service was fantastic and I had a brand new one within 2 business days after I notified them of the malfunction. I truly love this scoop and use it very frequently, especially during this holiday season.

Purchased this scoop right before the busy cookie baking time. And I don't regret it!!! It's very easy to use, very durable. My 3-year old is eager to help when it comes to cookies making and this scoop helps him form even balls 😀 Actually we used it to serve ice cream too. Can't wait to try making watermelon and honeydew bowls in summer! Lots of uses!PS It comes in a pretty box in case you need a gift for somebody who likes baking 😉

Tonight 1st time using it and it fell apart. But since Amazon doesn't send invoices with all products shipped can't do much but whine and moan. Very disappointed with product! Would not recommend to anyone.

Read tons of reviews and these seemed like the best. Opened box and very disappointed. Flimsy junk AND sent a smaller size than ordered. Sending back.
