This was pretty hard to put together
This was pretty hard to put together, and I don't see kids doing this. The instructions are a set of diagrams on one side. Given that there are a large number of very similar looking parts (feathers), this was hard to work with. You have to have some engineering sense to realize that there was a natural order to putting everything together (figure out what is the structural support). One problem with the owl compared to similar kits is that there are a lot of pieces that are friction fitting into slots, and the slot fitting is very loose and oriented down, so gravity is fighting you while you assemble and it will not stay together without glue.

Definitely is puzzling!
The instructions are really basic, you need to make notes of each piece that is to be applied. When placing pieces you need to know what piece you need to place it on. There is no visual instructions. Sure is a puzzle!The instructions are:1. First push out each pre-stamped piece.2. Before assembly, smooth all rough edges with the enclosed sandpaper.3. Get general idea of which parts goes to where.4. Pick up 2 pieces which correspond with each other by number and assemble.I was able to get the puzzle built in about a day (on and off). Had a slight problem distinguishing "I" and "10" pieces because of the small printing.5. If connecting joints is loose, use glue.

Not for 8 years olds, and definitely not for adults! Geniuses only!!!!!
Omg I look at pics on amazon now and I’m like that’s what it’s suppose to look like?!!! Well I got the face right at least. This is crazy hard to put together. Towards the ends I gave up on the map/directions and just started glueing pieces together. Have a couple of drinks before and let’s see what yours looks like.

Bought this for my 9 year old. The “directions” basically state that you’ll have to figure out where the pieces go on your own.

Nice product itself once put together, but had to watch a YouTube video for the instructions. It stated you need to have a “general” idea, which is a really “general” instruction, maybe should say no instruction at all.
