My little darling Shih-Tzu is 17 years old now - he is active and healthy, and I am sure the reason is because I've fed him Pet Mix for at least 14 of those years. He was deathly allergic to the chicken by-products in a well-known dog food.....he was so sick that I really believed he would die. I heard about Pet Mix on the radio, so I called them in Michigan. Baby Boy really did get well as soon as I cooked him up a batch (I use ground turkey.) He loves it! He eats like a little wolf! I was thrilled to find it on Amazon - it is delivered faster. I make a big batch and freeze it in quart freezer bags so it's always fresh. My veterinarian agrees with the human grade food in it, and there are no by-products or chemicals.

Almost for a year my shih tzu suffered from constant vomiting and stomach upset. I tried all kinds of high end canned and dried food. The vet was at a loss and we thought she may have serious issues, erays and blood test and nothing. She was on anti nausea and anti acid meds daily!!. On vet another visit after serious vomit episode a guest vet was subbing and she saw how often I came in for digestive issues with this little dog. Well she recommended this petmix, it took about 2 weeks but this was a lifesaver. Since then no more upset stomach no diarrhea no vomiting!!! I do use just a little less than recommended 1.5 cups instead of 2 and I use ground turkey. It freezes well. Highly recommend!!!! Also she is a very picky eater! I am so thankful for this dog food. 🐶

My little Maltese has skin allergies and can only eat homemade meals. I have been looking for a dog food that won't trigger her allergies, so I wanted to try the Skin and Coat Meal, but it was not available for international shipping, so I tried the Chicken Dinner, but no luck, my dog scratches her skin after eating the meal, although she likes the Chicken Dinner.I have reduced the amount down to one teaspoon, and I mix it with her regular meal, my dog still scratches her skin. If the Skin and Coat Meal becomes available for international shipping, I will order that for my dog to try.

OH MY GOODNESS! Can you say awesome? My little corgi has been having itchy skin issues along with developing hot spots. After many vet visits and trying different foods, even "special" prescription diet food, I stumbled across Healthy Dogma and order the 2lb trial mix. Before Bubbles finished her first bag of food, her skin started clearing up and her furr felt softer. Being only 20 lbs or so, she only eats about a half cup in the morning and evening, so the 2 lb bag last a little over a week.After finishing her second bag of food, her skin had completely healed and she is not having itching fits like before. I took the empty bag to share with my vet and Bubbles' groomer. (They are impressed!)I am also using the add-in supplement for skin and coat and now just recieved my order of Flea itching stuff, which should help as we are in Texas. Heat = Fleas!!!Thank you Dogma for making this healthy product. Bubbles is almost 10 years old, which is getting up there for a cori and her skin and eyes are looking soooooooo much better! A great way to get the needed food essentials for your dog. It is a meal you have to cook and prepare, but you can make a batch for several days. Recently our dog had an unknown cause of inflamed intestines with diarrhea. We started with a canned intestinal food from the vet and rather go back to his regular kibble dog food, we tried this. He loved it and thee hasn't been anymore intestinal problems.

My maltese are 16 1/2 years old. For the last 10 years I've been feeding them a natural dog food I got delivered to my door from a local distributor. Recently I had an issue with the food (not their fault) and I had to change foods. I researched and found Healthy Dogma. I wish I'd known about this food years ago. While my dogs are up there in age, I can tell you that Daisy LITERALLY wakes us up to eat every morning by 6:30 (w are not happy about that) but she has been feeling much better and looks much better than she has in the past 2 years. While she can barely walk, she seriously JUMPS when I'm putting it in her bowl. Our time with them is limited and precious and i'm so happy this has worked out for us. We use ground turkey and on occasion, grass fed beef as the protein source.

Great food. I can use any protein I choose and even grind my own. Dogs eat it right up and it is not hard to fix. I am not concerned about the AAFCO standards because I do feed a supplement. My dogs are doing well on this after a couple of years. Previously I fed a raw diet and a delivered frozen one. This food suits my needs for now .

Been feeding it to my little dog for a few years now. It's easy to mix with raw ground venison and my fairly picky little dog (6 lb Yorkie) loves it. I will continue to use this mix and would recommend it to any dog lover that wants to feed their dog something better and healthier than dry kibble.
