VERY NICE
I am really impressed with this stuff. I was looking for something non-toxic to seal some above-ground redwood planters and this looked like the perfect product and as it turned out, I was ***king right! I used Garden Seal to seal over 200 feet of 6" wide freshly sanded redwood and found the results to be outstanding. It was super easy to appyly. It looks like milk and smells and acts like Elmers glue. The redwood color deepened slightly, pulling the blond/red colors out even more for a super pleasing look. I really liked the instructions and cautions on the side; whoever wrote it has a sense of humor which I thought was awesome and speaks to the character of the company. The finish is *SLIGHTLY* satin; not prominant at all and if you weren't looking closely you wouldn't even notice it. Rarely have I run into a product that totally exceeded my every expectation. Well done. I almost can't wait to slather this stuff on other things. #Happy.

Easy to apply and excellent protection
I will only use this brand of sealer on my raised beds. Not only is it non-toxic, but it is so easy to apply. I completely sealed a 12’x3’ raised bed with about half a gallon, and I feel like I was very generous with the application. It went on a milky white then dried quickly to clear. I did get some of this product on my fingers. It dried like rubber glue and felt like it would make a strong, lasting seal against moisture and UV.

Works great.. Non toxic
2nd time I used this, 1st time on a new chicken coop 1 1/2 year ago. No signs of winter wear and tear. I just painted all the lumber I used to repair 4 raised bed garden boxes the ones I replaced rotted out after 2 years

Applies well with a brush, dries quickly
Compared to other finishes that I've used, this goes on pretty easily. Initially it's pretty runny, but it dries quick so you can use the brush to spread it around evenly. Slightly darkens redwood and gives it a slight sheen. I recommend pouring a small amount into a bucket when applying and using the brush to keep it well stirred. There is easily enough sealant in this container to apply 2 coats to a 4x8 garden box, both sides. It was difficult to find any information on the chemical composition of this 'tricopolymer'. There are SDS's on the web which describe the substance as being completely non toxic. Looks like its a vinyl acetate polymer, which is also used to line the plastic of common food containers.

Good product
This was easy to use. It is absorbed into the wood to form a water barrier. Dries very quick. Maybe in an hour.

Simple to apply to wood.
My brother and I used this to paint the inside of the raised garden bed we built for his family.

Made in USA! GREAT STUFF SO FAR!
This is the first time I have purchased this. It arrived earlier than expected in great condition. I am using it to seal raised beds for food so was looking for something non toxic. I was impressed by Garden Seal. It has many other uses too! Even repairing minor tree damage. Made in USA. It does deepen the color of the wood but very pleasantly. In my photo you can compare the ones sealed compared to unsealed. I love it! It's a bit thin but you get a hang of it pretty quick while coating. Smells like Elmer's glue. Looks a bit like it too. The weather will be the test so hopefully I'll be updating my review when I order more for next year!

Get some
Does what it says. Great having it available in large jugs like this. Safe for the land too when coating posts to go in the ground.
