Kona Kava Instant 9% Kavalactone Kava Drink Mix - Cocoa (4 oz)

This was the start of my instant kava journey. I was using standard kava in lozenges, powder, or capsule. All do not provide quite the same experience as this. I do doctor this up some with creamer/milk/and a healthy sugar free sweetener. It is lovely to drink at any point and noticeably relaxing. I pair it with another larger bag of pure instant kava for strength on occasion and sometimes add more cocoa flavor. It is relatively economical though I wish the bag was bigger. Its an amazing option for instant relaxation kava.

The cocoa did help it not taste like the usual mud water. I did feel some relaxation, but every time I tried it I ended up throwing up.

I ordered this twice because I liked it so much. I would mix it in with almond milk or chocolate milk. It tastes good for Kava and it has a good effect. Unfortunately, I don't think the company makes the cocoa variety any more. I am sad because I really like it and would happily order it regularly. Shucks, I'd get a subscription if they offered it.

I can't tell you if this works. The first time I tasted the flavor, I hated it. It has an extremely strong smell and flavor, but weirdly it's got nothing as any kind of sweetener.So it still has a weird kava extract taste and texture, but the banana tropical flavor is so bitter and extreme that I felt sick after about 4-5 sips. I just threw the drink out.I bought a very big bag of this, so I feel terrible about this purchase.

Definitely better tasting than the straight kava root powder. This particular kava gives me a heady feel. Still relaxing for the body, but makes one introspective. Not necessarily a bad thing though. Worth a try, no "day after" effects

This Kava is really good for daytime use. I used to order my daytime blend with another company, but they ended up only making it available for wholesale, so I had been on the hunt for months trying to find the right Kava that is effective and geared towards daytime use, but had no luck until I came across this one. This is my now new go-to daytime blend. I've tested this out when I was experiencing that horrible after lunch brain fog slump, and literally within minutes of taking this, my mind suddenly awakened and the fog evaporated. It got me off the floor and motivated to get back to work, so yeah this Kava definitely works great for me. It improves my mood, focus, and energy levels. I don't even take the full dosage, just a little bit does the trick.

I wanted to write a review about my experience with this Kava. On reddit a lot of people say negative things about this company but thankfully I don't listen to them. This kava was just as strong as any other kava's I have bought online. This Kava is great and cheaper then any other brands on Amazon. Thank you Kona Kava I will be buying again!

It is OK. I drank the entire bag in 2 sittings. It was a nice mellow feel but it really isn't good strength. It doesn't have much flaor. It is just regular kava with a weird aftertaste and the scent of artificial banana.
