Excellent colour photos and lots of information on both cacti and succulents. Very good value.

Great book for my hobby, payed out very well and pictures are clear overall very pleasing to pick up time and time again.

As someone new to the cacti and succulent world, I was needing a book with plenty of pictures to help me identify the plants I had bought and to get some more advice as to their care. This book has certainly been a great help. Easy to look at, easy to read, straightforward. It might not have every single type of succulent but there are so many it would be hard for most books to have a picture of everything. However it gives enough information and photos so that I was able to identify at least the family a plant came from, even if I didn't know the exact name, and for many, work out the actual name. Very helpful.

The book came down just as described and was in like new condition.

I was a bit surprised when I first opened my parcel as the book was smaller than I expected. The contents though make up for the lack of size. It is lovely. Very clear and concise and in alphabetical order which is always handy.The only thing that could have been better was that the packaging which was just a padded bag, it would have been better protected by a sleeve of cardboard ie like amazon send their dvds in the post. Apart from that I have enjoyed reading it so far.

I love my cactus and succulents but I’m no expert so after looking around I thought this book would be helpful. It’s a good size, hard-backed and full of information and pictures but it’s just too in-depth for me. First off the print is very small! Also I felt it was more suited to an expert, I couldn’t pronounce most of the names given to the plants ! The pictures were good but because they were taken quite close up I’ve struggled to identify most of my plants, and not enough everyday information on caring for the plants either, I’d like to have had one page per plant with useful tips. Sorry to say it won’t be my go to reference book, I’ll have to look for something else. Shame.

I liked the way it was laid out and that it explained whether the plan were tender or could endure frosts and the diagrams showed that the plants were better in green houses on window sills or outside or in pots altogether a very informative book with over 400 photos

A nice looking compact hardback book BUT it's really for the specialist. I love succulents and have many of various types and colours but there is very little mention of any of mine which were all bought from ordinary garden centres. So if you like the rarer types - some of which are very strange - this book will probably be right for you.

The book is great for identifying cacti and succulents and it gives good information on how to care for these plants. The photos are great and it is written well.
