I like them, low profile and sleek
Like they said. These are low profile, don't stick out like my schaller's did. And they just work and look good. And they do keep the strap on the guitar. I like them so far

The best strap locks!
I might need to revisit this review after a year or so of use, but so far I love these strap locks. Most strap locks have some annoying drawback that prevents them from being an obvious win over plain strap buttons, such as:- Only working with specific straps- Preventing you from using normal straps- Ugly appearance- Greatly increasing how far the strap attaches from the guitar or having parts that stick out and get caught on objectsThese locks manage to avoid all these. First, they look great while still being subtle; it isn't immediately obvious to everyone that you are using strap locks except upon closer inspection. They're pretty low-profile as well, so while it *does* add some height compared to ordinary strap buttons it is not by very much.Secondly, and my favorite part, is that the pin the locks are designed to, well, lock on, are designed to be extremely similar in shape to an ordinary strap button. No, you probably cannot reuse your existing buttons (the dimensions must be exact), you can in fact attach a normal strap to the base part as if it were a button, if for whatever reason you needed to switch straps quickly to one without locks on it.Additionally, there's a good chance that you can reuse the existing screws from your guitar's original strap buttons (as long as they aren't oversized), I was able to do this for all but one of my guitars. Why would you want to do this? Well the main reason is to ensure that you are using screws with the correct size and thread depth; using different screws will cut new threads into the wood of your guitar which will weaken the screwhole overall and increase the risk of the screw simply ripping out.And finally, these locks will fit on just about any strap. They tighten down and clamp the strap itself to add strength, so the strap is not going to slip out of the lock. Overall the entire mechanism feels very sturdy and well-designed, and unlocking requires a decent amount of intentional force. I definitely trust these to keep my guitar strap attached to my guitar better than a plain strap button.

Great product
Easy to install and easy to release the strap

Solid as advertised, very easy install.
The media could not be loaded. So after my strap dropped off one end while I was playing (the guitar did not drop) I knew I had to put on some locks. For the price this can't be beat. I used the screws from the factory to keep the original threading.Based on some complaints about noise, I was worried this was going to sound like loud spurs jangling every time a cowboy walked. It only has that rattle when the strap is hanging loose. Once on your shoulder the weight of the guitar holds the system in place so it rotates but doesn't rattle.Very happy with these and will be installing them on multiple instruments.

Works better than other options
I have tried a few different options and like this best so far. Took 1 star away for the length of screws provided. I have a PRS CE 24 that uses much longer screws for a better purchase. I simply used the original screws instead.

5 stars for shipping and quality. I can't use them, though, because the rear strap peg is exactly that ... a peg that tapers from 19/32" down to 1/4" (Martin D12-28).

Amazing ease of use
I added these to my Mele Ukulele. Best decision ever. They make it so much easier to take the strap on and off. Just slide it on when you want to use it. Just pull the button up and take it off when you're done. Makes it so much easier to keep the uke in it's case with the humidifier rather than get lazy and leave it out on a stand.
