I got this as a Mother’s Day gift this year and my mom said she loved trying the unique flavors instead of getting boring and typical chocolate. My parents both liked choosing one flavor to taste together each night and have liked them all so far. Their favorite was the firecracker flavor. I would purchase this as a gift again for others as well. The packaging is cute, as well. It feels like a good value, perhaps more expensive than other brands, but the novelty of the flavor variety appeals to me greatly. I also love the brand already.

The chocolate is yummy but the size of the package and the size of the chocolate bars is small. If you are giving as a gift then also send (1) more item from the same company/different company so the receiver is not underwhelmed by the gift received.

These are lovely little chocolate treats... emphasis on 'little'. I should have paid more attention to the weight. These 'bars' are about an inch and a half wide by two and a half tall and an eighth of an inch thick... overall about like a Giardelli square (which are *almost* equally tasty, but much less expensive). They *are* really good though. Too bad I have a big mouth.

Out of the ordinary chocolates…great for special occasion gifts….hostess gift….special game day snack…Excellent quality and shipping….the box presentation is lovely.

This is one of our favorite chocolates. It's a little pricey, but well worth the extra money. We haven't seen most of the flavor combinations anywhere else.

Did not Chu"WOW" me and too expensive. Eight very small chocolate bars in a nice little gift box. Arrived in a huge box with about 5 lbs. of ice packs. The flavors were okay, but nothing about the bars was very exciting. I was expecting a true gourmet craft chocolate experience. That was not the case here.

My husband and I love Chuao and love gifting it to family members as well! My grandfather who has since passed and mostly stubbornly stuck to peanut butter cups also enjoyed them and was surprised by how good they tasted despite the strange ingredients in them! He did still prefer peanut butter cups after trying them but said it opened his eyes to chocolate having savory ingredients and not tasting bad!

The chocolate is fine. It's not magnificent. The packaging is far more impressive which is why it's a rip off.
