Fantastic Monitor, Great Price
Received this item yesterday, so I will write my thoughts on it so far. First off, it’s a very nice looking monitor. It looks very good quality with the surround around the screen and the base stand. Just don’t touch it. The base is a little on the flimsy side but this can be forgiven at this price point. Easy enough to set up, and once it’s on, the picture is very good. I looked at a few ultrawide monitors at this price point and this one definitely seems to have the best specification, with little in the way of downsides. I’ve yet to try gaming properly on it, as I think I’ll probably have to upgrade my GPU first before I can do so. However so far, so good, I am very happy with this monitor and it is a huge upgrade from what I had previously.

Fab monitor for a great price!!
Great quality monitor for the price (great deal on prime day), so big it will take a while to get used too. Please note hdmi 1 only supports 50hz but hdmi 2 supports 60 and 75hz. I’m not a big gamer but this is fab for strategy type games as the screen is so large you can see extra bits you couldn’t before Highly recommended.

Solid Monitor, great value for money
A very solid way to get into a 34" 1440 Ultra-wide. It really is large, sat on my desk but I would still go for it over a 29" 1080 version due to pixel density. Very good colour reproduction as well. It also makes for a great bedroom TV given its large size and cinematic aspect ratio. Minor complaints, the viewing angle is not great, I do notice the colour washing out at the edges while sat at my desk looking directly at it. Height adjustment would have been nice as it sits a bit too low for my liking but nothing a VESA mounting arm can't fix for a few quid. Of course the refresh rate could be higher but for the price paid (£260 on Prime Day) it's far better value than some of the other more gaming specific panels on sale.

34 inch ultrawide
Bought this as a productivity monitor for my Macbook Pro, as due to its size and dimensions, it can comfortably fit 4 windows open on one screen. The screen itself is very large, and comfortably fits multiple open windows, surpassing the need for two monitors. In terms of the display itself, picture quality is good, with the resolution providing very sharp edges and smooth curves, with no visible pixels from a distance of about 40cm. Colour is accurate and quite life-like, although it doesn't quite 'pop' as it would on a glossy screened IPS panel. However, this has its benefits being VA and a matte screen, as the screen is perfectly visible even in a very bright room with near direct sunlight. I often find screens too harsh on the eye especially working at night, and this has never been an issue with this monitor, as there are plenty of contrast and brightness controls to adjust the mointor to the appropriate settings. Only major downside to this is the stand. The stand is huge, heavy and quite plasticky. Lukcily, I bought a vesa mount arm in advance though, which clamps to my desk and insures the monitor takes up literally no desk space, looks classier and gives endless height and tilt adjustability. I could not recommend buying one of these enough, as it could literally double your desk space with this on it, and looks so much better. Summary: Good: -Sharp resolution -Huge display -Accurate colours -Lots of ports for multiple sources -Very useable in very bright, unfavourable conditions -Had no compatibility issues with my Macbook or Dell desktop Bad: -Huge, plasticky stand -Colours don't really 'pop', though are accurate Overall I'd definitely reccomend buying this if you need a lot of space for multiple windows, as it costs the same as a decent dual monitor setup, but with a higher resolution and taking up less physical space. I've used this with my Xbox One X, and although I have encountered no issues with the physical display, no gaming console to date supports ultrawide so the image is stretched and I don't believe it is possible to letterbox the display so if you're looking for something for console gaming then don't go ultrawide. Otherwise, its great

Perfect for CLI Users.
Being a network engineer having multiple windows open is fantastic on this screen. I was getting frustrated with multiple displays and not having enough space on a single one. This conquers that issue. SecureCRT multi-windows looks great with plenty of room for PuTTY screens, although the fact windows can be in a single one with SecureCRT makes it more friendly. If you are a professional graphic designer or video editor this specific screen may not be the one, but ultrawide certainly is the way to go. I use adobe photoshop etc.. and you have so much room for the toolbars. It meets my needs here and I don't need 100% colour space representation and all the other bits you guys look for as I am a hobbyist. I have not used it as a gaming monitor and thus have not rated it. I purchased it solely for productivity. The text is lovely and clear and all the images are sharp. I suggest you use a VESA mount with this as it gives you more movement. I did need to buy additional VESA screws though to reach the holes in the monitor fully. I have a Lenovo T450 through work and the only way to get max resolution is to use a mini display port to display port cable. Converting it from a mini display port to HDMI does not work, despite the screen and graphics supporting it. The issue will be down to the GPU not supporting HDMI 2.0 I would imagine. If you have more than one device that needs a display port to get 4k at 60hz you will have to swap the cables around. HDMI 1.0 may support the resolution but not a 60hz only 30hz which impacts the picture a lot. You require an HDMI 2.0 device to achieve that. I had to upgrade my workstations GPU at further cost because this only had a display port. This screen only has one HDMI port capable of that 60hz. The other is only 30hz, so connectivity needs to be considered. If Samsung gave this 2 display ports and made both HDMI 60hzs it really would be perfect. I still rate it 5 stars because most people will only need one of the options and the price at £350 was worth it. I can already see it has jumped to £408!

I bought two of this screens for my computer setup. For several reasons, I haven't used one of them which is inside its box -I have to set the desk, buy a VESA stand for them two, and life itself stopped me from doing that yet. Regarding the monitor I have used, it's great: good brightness, great resolution, it's fast and it makes productivity easier than ever because it provides you with 34 inches of real state and a new experience for those who, like me, come from laptops and smaller screens on desktops. I love the function which allows you to split the content on your skin and locate it wherever you want. You can open Word on one half of the screen, your internet browser on a quarter of the screen and your email on the other quarter, for instance. In short, you can array the info in useful ways which allow you to make the most of this screen. I have even watched movies and series, connecting the screen to an android TV Box by Xiaomi, and I loved the experience. In fact, one HDMI port is used by my computer and the other one is used by my Mi Box. So I just have to switch the font on the monitor -which is very easy, with a button on the back which operates like a small joystick, so to speak- and the job is done. The only issue, if any, is that this monitor has no speakers, but I use bluetooth ones connected to my computer and I have no regrets about that. So, my 2 cents: a great monitor. Great Price-Quality ratio. I would buy them both again and, in fact, I think that I may buy another one, once I fix a few issues and have a chance, to have three identical monitors on my workspace and improve my productivity while not punishing my eyesight.

Contrary to some users experience mine has been a 5 star one. Plugged in using display port, set refresh rate to 75, set free sync on monitor to on, changed both in Nvidea settings. Launched Metro Exodus (mind blown)!! Screen is not too bright but plenty bright, colours are excellent, sharpness is beyond my expectations. No back light bleed which is hugely important as my last AOC had tons of it. I much prefer flat to curved as I honestly feel that curved is a gimmick. My last curved monitor is now dismantled. I also love the way it sits in the stand, it sits back on the desk freeing up desk space. I would never go back to 16:9 again and I most certainly will trust Samsung with money next time.
