Young Adult Literature in Action: A Librarian's Guide (Library and Information Science Text) Paperback – January 22, 2014

This is a current resource which I will use to help me select materials for my middle school library. I particularly appreciate the way the text is organized and the narratives from various young adult authors about why they write,, I also like the action segments which provide hands-on practical suggestions for teachers and librarians to use some of the featured books and resources for teaching.

It's a textbook

Used as a textbook for a library science class, but interesting to read even on its own, with great book recommendations, author interviews, and library program ideas. I've already flagged tons of pages!

Good book. Lots of interesting, useful information.
