Awesome Kit, great way to remedy aluminum wiring issues
Great way to swap out older plugs and switches to overcome aluminum wiring.I recently bought an older home, and had to learn quickly about the issues with aluminum wiring. A complete rewire was way too expensive, and at the suggestion of my inspector, have started the process of replacing all the plugs and switches. These are a real time saver, as I have no previous electrical experience. Before you purchase / start your project - do a little surfing. There are really good videos out there that show you exactly how to use these. And also suggest you purchase a torque wrench to apply specific pressure to your connections. The trick with these AlumiConn Connectors is having the proper length of wire stripped and getting it all the way to the back of the device before tightening. If you do that properly - the connection will not fall off as you get the wiring back into the wall. One issue that I am having is that with an older home, the outlet boxes are smaller than what is standard today. Some plugs may not fit. Ex. - I bought a plug w/ USB slots - it's too big to fit in along with the AlumiConns.. But that's MY house. Otherwise, with a typical plug I'm not having issues.

Perfect Solution!
These work great.

They might be missing parts
They are very expensive wherever you buy them, but one of them was missing the locking screw making it useless.

Needed for aluminum / copper circuit connections.
Not as large as you would think, fits in boxes. Easy to connect and easier to use than normal connections and paste. Saves time and works for a homeowner like me that didn't know that was needed until I talked to an electrician.

Awsome product for Al to CO connections
These connectors made connecting my new outlet to ole aluminum wires super quick and easy. For the DIYer these are a great way to make a safe connection without the hassle of hiring an Electrician.

Finicky, Bulky, Expensive, Inefficient
These things are actually a three position busbar in a latching hard plastic case. Warning : Once the lid is closed and locked then there very little chance that it will ever open again without damaging the latch. These things are HUGE. One can barely fit three of these into a simple single gang duplex outlet box. They also require a expensive torque screwdriver for installation.A single gang switch box requires four of these things (if it is not a 2-way switches). A three gang switch requires ten (if you have no 2-way switches and you daisy chain power and ground the switches). One is likely to have to replace all the switch boxes with larger boxes. One is probably better off completely replacing the wiringoruseing outlets and switches that are rated for use with both aluminum or copper wiring. The latter is a whole lot more efficient and less less expensive.CO/ALR Simple Toggle Switch == https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003AZZ3FECO/ALR 3-Way Toggle Switch == https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000OLDNW2CO/ALR 15 Amp Duplex outlet == https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKHUTECO/ALR 20 Amp Duplex outlet == *** NO SUCH ANIMAL ***The one place where these Alumincon connectors might be the better alternative is on 20 AMP outlet circuits (commonly found in kitchens) --- only because no one manufacturers a CO/ALR 20 Amp Duplex outlet.

Good stuff Maynard
Good product, as designed, despite minor issues I'll give it 5 stars. My only issue was having to get "creative" with the coloring on the pigtails when I ran out of the correct colors. I realized this in advance so I only had to be creative a couple of times. You will probably need more of these than you think.Optionally, I could have just bought some Romex and made the correct color pigtails, but that defeats the purpose of a ready to use kit.
