An encounter with a man and machine
After ten years of hibernation, Lorna and her two robot friends wake up when they arrive at their destination in the constellation of Pirah. They encounter a large cargo ship called 'The Ark'. For once Lorna has to put on clothes (or an astronaut suit) as they go exploring. What they find is far too horrible to put to pen, but Lorna's suit does not stay on for long.Another epic adventure starts for our sexy traveller where she meets monsters of the deep, irate and downright nasty people, Commander Henry Ansel Curtis (Captain of the Ark), Big and Blog who are the totally opposite of each other, Big's people and Enea who rescues and helps Lorna in her quest.Commander Curtis wants Lorna to mother his decendants but he has one draw back, he is half human and half computer which has made him completely insane.Grab a copy and read about the exploits of the universe's sexiest explorier as she travels to place unknown, and meets people and creatures that can only be described by an expert artist and storyteller. No one should miss the opportunity to add this book to their Lorna collection of space adventure.

Hardcover heaven
The media could not be loaded. I'm a long time fan of Azpiri so I may be a bit biased. I simply love his art style. Alfonso Azpiri is a Spanish comic book artist, whose work is mainly of the adult variety. Some of his stories have been featured in Heavy Metal magazine. I even have the issue that features this story but I couldn't pass up on buying this because it's a hardbound edition, and there are no ads and such. The price was nice as well. This includes one complete story arc about the beautiful (and most of the time naked) Lorna getting into trouble and having a good time getting out of it. It's funny, sexy and a great adventure story. I'll be buying more of her adventures in the future.

Kind of amusing
Heavy Metal has published some truly exceptional comics - great art, thoughtful stories, and sometimes both at once. And, unfortunately, sometimes neither. This one has plenty of grown-up (and some 'adult') appeal. Our Heroine has an aversion to clothing, full servings in the dairy department, and a haunch of lush proportion. And a tendency for every horndog in the galaxy to lay claim to (and hands on) her delectable person. That includes competing megalomaniacs, each of whom proposes to sire their view of the Master Race (i.e., more of themselves) by means of her womanly vessel. Let's just say these vastly intelligent beings somehow missed out on the basics of genetics and the hazards of inbreeding, as their grandchildren's and great-grand's generations would so tragically have demonstrated. The good news is that the female person who shared intimacy with her would never have had to worry little people resulting from their frolics. But, through it all, Lorna maintains her poise, calm, limited wardrobe, shoulder-length earrings, and purple eye shadow. I mean, what else really matters for a babe in space, captain and adventurer or not? Passable art with nods to Suydam (another Heavy Metal regular), but that's about all. Enjoyable enough, but don't go out of your way.-- wiredweird
