I have a problem buying hats because my head is somewhat larger than the average woman's, so ordering hats online has always been chancy. I'm happy to report that this hat fit me perfectly and did a great job of keeping the sun off my head and out of my eyes. It works well as a rain hat, too. Now I can toss out a couple of ill-fitting hats, which is always a plus.

This hat came today and I like it allot, but I didn't realize that the hat was not the same all the way around. In the front, the brim is stiff and has shape while the back half is more of a handkerchief style of materiel. It drapes over your head and neck. Not sure of the reason for this but it looks fine and feels fine. Has the tie to make it fit just right for your head, plus a removable chin strap that adjusts. I don't look good in hats but this one looks better on me than I thought it would. Going to use it at the beach.I have prime but shipping was fast. I ordered it on Friday evening and it came around noon on Monday. It was folded once, in a plastic bag and inside a box (I ordered 2 items.) It could easily be shipped in a manila envelope, if it were large enough.Actually, now that I'm thinking more about it, that design of the hat in the rear would make it a lot more comfortable to wear while sitting in a beach chair and resting your head back. Maybe that's why they made it that way.

I cannot be happier with this product! I ordered it for sun protection at the river when we are lounging on the boat and really didn't expect much since it was a fairly cheap hat. This hat is amazing. Not only does it protect your entire face from the sun, it has a longer back so it protects your neck and part of your shoulders too. You can't see how much shade it will make from the photos, but it does. It is not made of cheap material, it is not flimsy and doesn't break easily (blowing in the wind doing 40+ on the boat, it never flipped up once ! ! ). I actually went back on-line and ordered a lighter colored one so I would have color choices. Definitely recommend buying this hat ! !

I needed a hat that would cover the back of my neck and keep the sun off my face and I found it with this hat. I recently went to Egypt and I'm fair skinned so knew I would get sunburned if I didn't cover up. The wide 4.7 inch brim kept the sun off my face and the flap on the back of the hat kept the sun off my neck. This hat packed very well. I could lay it flat or fold it to make it smaller. The neck cord came in handy as it was windy a few days and helped to keep me from chasing a hat across the sands. It wasn't hot to wear and my head didn't sweat while I was wearing it. It looked pretty good on too. One of the best buys I made for my trip.

Okay. This is not what I thought it would be. It's basically a visor with some fabric. It's cute if that's the look you're going for, but I thought it was a normal sun hat with a design on the bottom. I feel like the description didn't show that accurately.Also, I have a big head and it fits. So small heads - probably wouldn't fit you

Great hat. It shades my neck and face well. I love the floppy back of the hat. It allows me to easily put headphones over it on the range without having to take my hat on and off when putting on my ear protection. That is not possible with hats that have a stiff brim all the way around and I do want my cheeks and neck to be shaded as well as the front of my face. This hat breathes well. My head didn't get sweaty after hours in direct sun. It is flattering from the front. My husband says the back looks like Elmer Fudd's hat, but I can live with that. I'd rather the back of my hat look silly than burn the back of my neck. This is a great hat for shooting, hunting, fishing, gardening, and any rough and tumble outside activity. If you are looking for fashion over function, you can find more fashionable hats, but if you need it to work, stay on your head, and allow for flexibility in back, then this is the best looking and most functional hat I've come across.

I so wanted to like this hat. Alas it's not for me.The wide front brim is plastic covered with fabric, so it's critical that you don't fold it because the crease will last forever. The back is pleated fabric and there is a slit for your ponytail. You can make the hat smaller by retying the back bow. Also there is a detachable drawstring chin strap for those windy days. I thought the fabric and the finishing on this hat to be rather flimsy and I'm not sure how long it will hold up under serious use. That said it's awfully cute -- on the right person, and that person wasn't me.

Seriously cute hat. Lightweight enough so it doesn't make me hot, wide brim to keep the sun off my face. Crumples up and reshapes easily for packing. I looked at hundreds of hats before buying this one and it is perfect. I'll be purchasing another in a different color so I am protected no matter what my color scheme is.Edited to add that I bought a second & it's just as awesome as the first. Great hats!!!
