The tea leaves have a nice floral fragrance, however the end result is a tepid tasteless brew without any fragrant notes. According to the information printed, date of picking is August 2019, and date of packing is May 2020. Also, for a company that constantly harps about being a sustainable brand, the packaging makes no sense at all. The amount of packing material used per teabag is thrice that of common brands. I find this very wasteful. We all know that it is currently fashionable to say one is carbon neutral, organic, plastic neutral and other terms which are just marketing gimmickry for brand differentiation, and to guilt trick the current generation into buying a product.

Packaging - box came squished on the top. But it can't be their fault. Tea bags are seal packed. So doesn't affect the quality in any way.Fragrance - mild. Very mild. But it's there.Caffeine - It does deliver the caffeine kick. Unless you are used to the CTC, dust variety on over boil kind of kick.As promised these are leaf teas. And that's what they give. Full marks to them on that. No twigs, no non sense in there.You will need to brew it for a full 5 mins to get that flavour. (Don't worry this tea at 5 mins won't go astringent). 3 mins is a weaker brew in terms of flavour. Tea leaves are not fresh. They can advtg and say what they want but you only need to take a sip to realise it.It has a nice clean leaf tea taste without any complex flavour profile.Overall for price vs quality it is a 3 star overall.Problem is when u price ur product the way they have, customers are going to expect that kind of quality which is different from the cheaper variety. Product in the end has to justify the niche that they promise.This in the end is an ever so slightly better leaf tea in a fancy pack. (But slightly better for sure it is)PS: I drink black tea. No sugar. No ice.I don't think it's for the milk kind.

First of all Packaging wasn damaged, regarding taste i expected an Earl grey with some citrus flavour, i think only gastaters can find a citrus flavour in that , and im just a Earl grey/ citrus tea lover, could not find anything of that ,

Very poor quality...This is definitely not Darjeeling tea .Feel completely cheated. Absolutely there is no flavour.. Didn't expact this from the renowned brand like Vahdam.

Typical run-of-the-mill tea bag. Packed in an illusive and large packet to indicate that it is good and hence expensive.Last thing a connoisseur of Darjeeling tea can buy. 🙄

This is the Worst ever Earl Grey tea I ever had in my life. I don't know whether there is a option to return the product and get my cash back. If yes I will do I as got so embarrsed among colleagues to whom I recommended and gave them a tea dip for taste.

The tea bag sizes are different, there is barely any smell ( you basically fell short on the very reason we drink darjeeling tea ) I bought this after I tried the one which came with the assorted selections. (which had great smell and taste)Very disappointed vahdam.

This is an excellent first flush Darjeeling tea. I’ve had a lot of Darjeeling teas so I have a frame of reference. The pyramid tea bags allow the leaves to open up. I have no hesitation in recommending this. You won’t be disappointed.There are cheaper darjeeling teas available but I can see the value in this product. The tea bags are larger and individually sealed. However, it’s not clear whether the nylon tea bags also contain plastic.

Sehr gute Qualität und wirklich feiner Geschmack. Teuer, aber so sehr nun auch nicht, vor allem weil es sich lohnt.

I am a big English Breakfast fan "Twinings" or Tazo "Awake". But always in search for other full-bodied black tea. I was very disappointed. It is advertised as bold but it was very weak. I even tried using 2 tea bags per cup and that even fell short. The tea lacked substance and flavor. Would not recommend unless you like very weak tea.
