Logitech C270 Webcam HD Video and Audio Technology - Black + Logitech H390 USB Headset

Perfectly happy with this, literally plug and play on a Windows 11 laptop. However when I went to look at updates there was an optional Logitech driver which I installed thinking that was good practice. Have since disabled it and switched off a warning and everything works fine so I would just advise if you bought this and it works, leave well alone.The reason for buying it is I have a relatively new Lenovo laptop which seems to have known issues with the WiFi receiver (or whatever it is). It gets slow if plugged in to other equipment and works best if the back is pointed towards router (sounds stupid but seems common). Attaching a webcam has left it much more flexible where the laptop is and I know where the webcam is pointed which means I can keep the background consistent.I ummed and ah'd about spending more but this seems more than adequate, better than the laptop cam. Only thing is it has not cover - I had an old pack of Targus sliding webcam covers and found that if you fix one of these vertically it covers the camera without obscuring the active light nor the mic. You have to place quite carefully but it means I have a camera with a cover for less than £30.Only other thing to mention is the way it fixes with a flexible stand that you balance against the monitor. It is quite well made but with thin edges have to place carefully to not obscure screen

I wasn’t expecting 4k and the picture is good enough for Zoom etc. I was a bit dissatisfied with the fitting design. The camera really just hangs on your monitor and is not at all secure. A very strange clip that doesn’t actually clip on but hooks over the top, sort of. If your monitor never moves it will be ok. Also if you own a Mac remember this is the old USB so you need an adapter for the new type on all Macs now.

The media could not be loaded.  I looked around for ages for an affordable webcam and this one was recommended the most (even when I googled "top ten webcams". It's a great price, small and has a mic built in.I use it for facebook live and I am told facebook compresses the video a fair bit anyway. But when I use it outside of facebook the quality is ace.Eventually I will probably get a free standing Mic, when funds permit. But this is good to go. Plug and play!So whats not to like. Cheap, small, fits on my monitor. Go get it.

Did the job, arrived ok

Good clarity. Fixing on a laptop is easy but does not provide sturdiness with the available locking mechanism. Set up is fairly easy, you need to download the driver though.

Generally very good, excellent picture quality and focus. Can struggle a bit if light source is behind you.

Much better than I was expecting. The picture and sound quality are both excellent, and put my laptop webcam to shame. I think it is fixed focus but this does not cause any issues. Light level auto adjusts so the picture quality is great even in environments with poor lighting.
