 It is very easy to apply. I don't know how easy it will be to remove. Hopefully as easy as advertised, but we'll see.It is pretty much silent when it stops and holds the door.However it is not at all silent when you pull the door away from it to close it. That's because what keeps the door attached is primarily a suction cup. There is a magnet in it as well, but it is quite weak and probably wouldn't be able to hold most doors by itself. So when you close the door there is a very audible 'pop' sound as it detaches.I am still happy with the purchase overall, although I find the advertising as 'silent' a bit misleading.Also I wish it came in white.

The front door in my apartment has a fairly strong spring inside and always bothers me when I need a hand to hold the door.Since the apartment doesn't allow me to drill any holes either on the wall or on the door, I cannot install a normal door holder, very upset.But one day I found this silicone one, which claims that it can stick tightly to the wall without making any holes.I kind of doubt because the wall in my apartment is not flat at all. But I finally decide to give it a shot, why not?It came in a nice looking small box, and after I try it, I am totally impressed because it does a very good job even for my wall, and the sucker can hold the door firmly, just amazing!

I have a very heavy front door and I have the long end attached to a flimsy bathroom door. I am in an apartment and the device's long end would not adhere to plastic or flimsy material. The rounded magnet adheres to any magnetic surface. My front door is extremely heavy and closes automatically.I used the adhesive backing and the device fell off. I use super glue and it partially stuck. The door is a fireproof door and nearly impossible to get in and out with rollator and power wheelchair. This device holds the door open long enough to in and out of before the door closes. I struggle to get the door to stay open upon entering my apartment. The device is not faulty. My door is just too heavy.It took me several placements to get the right spot for the magnet and suction end to work. On a wall and lighter door, this device will work fine.I might suggest using paracord or leash to close the door. The suction is strong..

This super simple design, easy to apply, has made my bathroom so much better! I live in an older house, and the door closes by itself. This simple magnet is exactly the right strength to hold the door but not so hard that you have to tug it to close it. The sticky pad is strong enough to hold on, I didn't have to use screws at all. I was so happy to find this product! Wonderful design.

I have a heavy, self-closing door and tried using one of these by itself, but it just didn’t hold the door open. The good news is that two are working perfectly. I tried to separate the two (one on top and on on bottom, as recommended by the seller) but apparently my door (or wall) isn’t exactly even, so I had to put them right on top of each other, but, even so, it is working great. The other good news is that these are easy to remove and reposition (if you follow the directions) and didn’t damage the walls, thus, a great choice for me as a renter! Happy customer!

I have french door on two sided of my back porch at a right angle to each other. So when one opens, you could possibly crash it into the glass of the other. This is exactly what we needed to keep one french door handle from crashing into the glass of the other without having to drill into the doors.

Bought a similar door stop on Amazon which eventually ended up being garbage. I wanted a door stop that was adhesive and could keep a door open, and came across this one. It definitely keeps a door open and the hold is very strong!

This works perfectly to prevent any door from slamming close especially when you have a house where wind flows through and ends up moving the doors. I recommend it and would buy again if needed. But so far, it's working well.
