Allegro Tea, Organic Earl Grey Tea Bags, 20 ct

Great for tea time

It’s a lovely tea whose flavor still comes through upon adding milk. You have a light lingering floral perfume after drinking. Perfect for someone who looked a milk tea but doesn’t want the flavor overwhelming them.

I discovered this tea at a Whole Foods coffee kiosk. Out for coffee with my son, the barista asked if I wanted foam on my tea. I have never used foam, but I said why not. I fell in love with this mildly scented Earl Grey, which is a Whole Foods brand and very reasonable. I thought I invented Earl Grey tea with foam, but it turns out it is called a London Fog. I use only Monk Fruit to sweeten mine, and heaven forbid no lavender! I bought my own foam maker from Amazon and I only use the Allegro brand Earl Grey. I tried others but they were too strong or had too much scent.

As stated I'm not a connoisseur, I've tried this for the last 3 months and have found it to have a nice citrus, flowery fragrance. Smooth to the taste and no bitter after taste. (I regularly drink Lipton Black Tea daily and do occasionally get a mild aftertaste.) I've tried the Allegro as an ice-tea but found it weak in flavor. However as a hot cup of tea its good and pleasing to the taste. For the price I recommend potential buyers, buy a box and see if its for you.I recommend and I give it 4 stars. I going to try a whole leaf version and see it there is a difference.Updated: I wanted to mention that (as several others have) that the string on the teabag comes loose and it is annoying. While its not a game changer, I do like the tea and I will likely buy again.

Nice smooth tea. Not bitter at all

I decided I needed to try some new Earl Grey, so I chose this because I could buy a single box for a decent price. I'm glad I chose it, because it is a very nice cup of tea. The Bergamot is not over the top, and it makes a really good clean cup. Highly recommended if you are an Earl Grey fan!

My husband's favorite tea now. He tried some at a cafe recently and said he liked it so much that I bought him this brand. The boxes were put in with another item that damaged them but fortunately, the tea bags were fine and I put them in a tin I had. The boxes are recyclable. Will buy from this company again.

I would not buy this again. Earl Grey? How long did they wave the actual Earl Grey ingredients over this? Virtually no scent, little taste.
