Sterling Steel Unisex-Adult SS806SM Safety Boots

[Updated Review]As promised I would return to update on how these pan out over a short amount of time. I am sorry to say, the base of these boots have begun to crack, eventually as I have seen this on other boots too many times they will crack all the way and start sucking up the rain water no matter how thin on the ground it is. I have uploaded photos of this process that began only a few weeks ago. I remind people I literally walk 5mins to my train station, sit on a train motionless until it arrives in London, then walk a further 10mins to my office and sit on my rear for the rest of the day or walk on carpeted floor for moments, then reverse the process for coming home. I do not use these boots for construction so the fact this is happening with very little stress is now breaking my dreams of finding a boot that was decent. End of October 2016 I purchased these boots, I am updating my review as of mid April 2017, and the issue started (and has not finished yet!) just few weeks ago, so you are likely to get 5months ish if you are treating these well and using them for simple journeys, shame...dam shame as these boots will become squidgy soggy sponges during the rain :([Original Review]Size 12 ordered, and they fit perfectly with about just under a cm spare for my feet to move about. Very very comfortable. Have been using these for around a week now and this is the most I have ever spent on boots, normally tech is my thing that absorbs my cash, £10 boots and I'm happy but there comes a time when your boots slurping up the rain water takes the piss! So, so far so very good...nothing has come apart yet! Usually after about 2 months this crap happens so will set a calendar reminder to update this review. Very snug around the ankles, not sure what else to say other than at £39 I am happy with what I have got :)

These are not "wide" fitting boots as advertised. These are a slimmer fit than the twenty quid work boots you can buy off the shelf. Had these delivered under Prime by royal mail. Royal Mail left a card. Drove 14 miles each way to collect them from the depot. Now have to drive another 14 miles and go to the trouble of returning them. Why does amazon continue to allow products to be mis stated. Really annoyed. Suggest you don't buy these unless you have slim girl sized feet!!!

These are a fabulous boot. Hard wearing, very comfortable and excellent price. Just replaced my first pair which I had for years
