Abbey Avenue Trixie Platform Bed with Storage Trundle, Full, Walnut

This bed is perfect! It has great aesthetic appeal for young and older girls (or boys 💁‍♂️). Wuite sturdy bed made with quality wood and fabric. The headboard is a faux creamy-colored, slightly textured leather, almost has an opal/irredentist look. The studding is a strip, but it doesn’t take away from the look, and still a very high quality. I put the whole bed and trundle together by myself which isn’t recommended.It came together fairly easy, but some pieces are awkward to get together by yourself. The instructions don’t have any words, just pictures. It was okay to follow, but some words could have helped. The only part I messed up a bit was when I screwed all the slats down as evenly as I could, the support bar across the top didn’t line up with the right holes. I had to un screw, move and rescrew the slats to get the support in correctly.I would like to note that this is not a true trundle bed. It doesn’t have slats or support to hold a bed. It is designed to have divided extra storage underneath. I will be purchasing twin slats separately and cross my fingers that it supports the weight of a human. I think it will, but I’m not sure that it was designed for that.It’s a great bed. Great price. Arrived quickly. Fairly easy to put together.
