I love the recycled palm leaves! The patterns are beautiful!

These plates are amazing! I bought them to replace our other compostable plates that came with an awful smell and for the occasional use when we don't want to waste a good dish. Not only are they microwavable (whaaat) but they're sturdy, pretty and you can add them to the compost pile when your done with them! LOVE!In response to some of the other reviews:1. YES these plates will vary from each other and some might have imperfections. Once these palm leaves fall from the trees, they are picked up, dried, and then molded into the different styles of plates you see here. It's super natural, so you should expect these plates to be too! I, myself, find the imperfections make the plates even prettier!2. The plates are extremely strong & durable, however, if you were to fold the plate in half, it would snap/crack at the center. But who does that with their plates anyhow?3. Mine have never had an odor even upon opening. I've had them stored in the cupboard with our other dishes & there's still no smell. And you can't beat an environmentally friendly plate! Tailgating, picnics, event outings - BE THE CHANGE with these eco plates.4. When you compost these, it's easiest to cut them up into smaller pieces with scissors and then dump them into the compost. I have found that these plates break down just as fast as the food we throw in. Yay!Get the plates. They're awesome!

We have family members that like food separated.

We hosted our first large family post-pandemic dinner. Once again these sturdy, beautiful plates did not disappoint! For safety, we wanted to dispose of our dinner and dessert plates but did not compromise on beauty! We also used these last year for our son's pandemic wedding rehearsal luncheon.

We don't own a set of melamine and did not want to purchase a large service for a patio gathering. We did purchase Tritan wine glasses and these plates, as well as a small square salad/dessert plate from the same company. They looked great, even casually elegant, and they held up well! Some have remarked negatively about the variations in coloring. There are some that have more dark streaks than others, but somehow, we felt that added to the charm. With bronze chargers and our regular flatware, it did not look or feel like anything was lost in the way of ambiance. Palm leaf plates even seemed to go right along with the tiki torches and fire pit. That they are sustainable and compostable is, of course, a plus.

I bought these to be more eco-friendly instead of using plastic plates or glass that break easily, and it came wrapped in a ton of plastic!! It really defeated the purpose of my purchase. They should NOT put in their description that they’re eco-friendly, that plastic will be in the earth eventually forever. There’s so many sustainable and affordable options nowadays. This must be from China! I should have done better research.

We used these as an option to paper and plastic disposables for our wedding. I loved the organic texture and feel, they are heavy duty and handled food well. Only snapped one and that’s because my boys were play fighting with them lolThe natural variation in colors added to the charm for me, would definitely buy again.

We used these for a kids father’s day craft. A number of them came cracked- so would not recommend getting them for something liquid like cereal. Otherwise they are beautiful and worked great for our craft. And would hold up to food like sushi or something. But no soup or cereal.

Went to the seller’s website and everything is sustainable, eco-friendly, okay price… then they show up wrapped in plastic. I love everything up until that. Still good products but please reconsider the way they’re wrapped

These are awesome plates. Used for a rustic wedding dinner service, they can hold a lot of food, have a unique look and are biodegradable.
