"Real Food" To Feel & Look Better
There's a great message in this book -- eat protein (meat, fish, poultry, eggs, etc.) and veggies, a little added fat, fruit, nuts, and seeds for 30 days and see how you feel. There's no attempt to demonize carbs, grains, or any other food. It's just a "challenge" to eat as much non-processed food as possible, drink water, and overall see how you feel. Roland and Galina are betting that within the month you'll drop some pounds, feel like you've "detoxed" and have less cravings."The Real Food Reset" isn't the first book with this message. Well Fed, Primal Blueprint, and countless of Paleo books say similar things. But there's no dogma here -- just some common sense, some "tools" to make the month as beneficial as possible, and a challenge to try it out. It's a great read and a great basis for eating.

Great information, no judgement
OK, so I have read the book twice, preparing to do exactly what Roland and Galina suggest - eat right, move and lose weight - but as with a lot of people, life gets in the way. That said, the book doesn't preach, it doesn't bring you down. It's very uplifting and you'll find yourself slapping your head because the information is presented in such a logical and straight-forward manner. Soon, I will make the commitment to do what these two suggest - and I will lose weight and I will feel better.

A Challenge for Modern Eaters
This is a decent little book that lays out the rationale and general direction for a low/no carb approach to eating. The author makes a good case for why you should avoid the potential hazards associated with eating too many grains and legumes (among other things), but doesn't become too explicit about how your daily meal plans. From the positive perspective, this allows the reader to concentrate on understanding how to recognize real food from that which should be avoided, but it will leave those looking for specific daily instructions and motivation wanting more. He does point the reader towards other resources, chiefly his online platform, so if more information is needed it can be found. Overall I think the book was worth the read, but it does not have the level of detail or rah-rah motivation common to many other books of this type. Whether this is good or bad depends on what you are looking for in a book that promotes a change in the way you eat and live your life.

I loved this book
I loved this book. Its simplifies nutrition in a world where we are constantly receiving conflicting information about what is good or bad for us, especially from the medical community over the last 50 years in regards to what is heart-healthy. While I haven't completed the 30 day reset just yet, I found a lot of the information in this book quite beneficial, informative, and worth the read.

Real Food. Real Simple. Real People
The Real Food Reset is a very simple to follow plan that is presented in a strait forward and pleasant manner. It doesn't make itself out to be more than it is or bog itself down with meaningless information or pseudo-science. The book is quick to the point and gives the reader everything they need to formulate their own dietary plan and even provides a tracking system to quantify the positive effects that are occurring that might otherwise be overlooked. After the 30 days the reader will have the education and practice to carry the plan forward for ever. Can't beat that for 99 cents!

Great common sense advice!
I love the fact that every aspect of this 30 day reset is so do-able, the only thing making it hard to do is the mind that's not ready to get healthy. I'm a breast cancer survivor & I'm now worried another disease will "get me" if I don't start now & hit the reset button! Thank you Roland & Galya for writing this life-saving book!

Decent book for not so aware of how to eat healthy people.
It is a decent book. Not a revolution but it has important info that everyone should know about what food to eat and when. For people that don't have a slightest idea how to eat fresh and healthy it will open a whole new world to them. For advanced people who knows about healthy diets and how to eat, it will be a bit boring.
