Make sure you understand that this is a specialty fixture
If you have a mobility limitation with your legs, this can be a major improvement to quality of life. It is tall enough that when you go to stand, you can rely on handrails and upper body strength to boost and steady yourself. A regular height bowl, for many, requires a lot of knee stability and quad muscle to "launch" yourself upright. However, if you have muscle damage or nerve damage or severe arthritis, that kind of "launch" is not an option. Rather than rely on a commode, this toilet allows you to use a walker to access your bathroom and then transition from standing to what I would call a high-chair or bar-stool sitting posture. You can remain independent and do your business, and then return to upright walking posture with basic hand grips. The bowl is very stable, unlike the rickety tower of add-on seats that some try to use to gain height. Also, there is good separation from the seat to the water level, so if you need to use mechanical aids for hygienic reasons, you will not contaminate them with bowl liquid. It would be well advised to set a commode at the height of this bowl and see how you feel about it -- sort of a test drive. OK, now some cautions. First, as it is extra tall, your floor must be level. If your floor is off level, be sure your plumber brings a real shim kit to level the bowl (not wood shims, or washers, or quarters but a real flange and shim kit. I have found that the bowl seals well with both traditional wax rings and newer foam "donuts." Be sure you tell your plumber to bring an extended fill pipe or hose. I needed a 20" line for the installation I had done. The dual mode flush handle had, in the model I received, a square opening in the tank and so it mounted very securely with a back-nut and washer and was easy to index. The handle operates something like a throttle cable or pentaflex cable where a stiff inner wire moves to and fro and a rigid outer sheath remain in place. Do not allow that cable to be kinked during un-boxing. The tank mounts securely. There is a rubber gasket that must be properly applied, but the instructions are very clear about this and my plumber had no trouble putting it into place. When properly applied, the tank has two nylon bolts that attach it to the bowl. As they are gasketed on the inside of the tank, my plumber told me the trick is not to tighten from the inside of the tank (the fasteners have a slotted head), but use a specialty four-point crown wrench from the bottom and just stabilize the bolt with a screw driver. This brings the tank into solid mechanical connection with the bowl. As for the dual flush, my plumber said it was all standard "guts" and he said the included parts were of good home-owner grade quality. The energy of the flush on this thing is fantastic. I am old enough to remember having a 5 gallon flush toilet in my first house. This unit rivals that with a satisfying slosh and gurgle that makes you want to keep an eye on the family cat lest it be drawn-in during the ensuing suction. In candor, even low volume flush in this will handle many solids, but high volume fully evacuates the bowl. I cannot image what you could do in this thing that would ever require a second flush. The tank lid fits firmly and mates well to the tank. The seat that comes with it is middle-of-the road quality, but you will likely do what I did and have a specialty seat installed. If you order this toilet, you are kind of opting-in to a customized fixture set-up. The person I had this installed for found it very reliable and its height and features gave them a big increase in independence. (I had two installed, one from Amazon). The shipping packaging is good, but if you are asked to sign for a shipment (comes as 2 boxes), be sure there are no intrusions or penetrations to the cardboard. One person can un-box, but it was much safer when I gave the plumber a hand. Although I know a bit about plumbing and have replaced a regular toilet before, I would say (especially due to warranty) that this would be best served by a professional install vs. DIY.

Great toilet
I bought 2 of these in 2020. After 3 years I have had no issues with these toilets. Love the height. As my knees are bad these toilets make standing up and sitting down very easy. The dual flush is a nice feature. I also notice that this toilet doesn't clog up. My plunger is dry rotting from lack of use. This toilet is a great buy and worth every penny.

nice commode
This commode is well designed. THE HEIGHT IS A PLUS. We are tall people and seniors. It is a relief to not struggle to sit on and get off this commode. It is deep and especially suitable for men who has problems with their genitals not touching the commode and the water in it. We don't need bars to hold on to. It is such a BIG change from the lower made commodes. I am so glad we purchased this particular one. The cost is well worth it.

Adequate for the need
Had to replace it not so old toilet that had a fracture and would have failed soon. Ordered the tall boy for spouse who has arthritis and getting worse over time. So I ordered a new flooring and it was installed in a morning Instructions were worthless super tiny print and not really usable. Toilet installed easily tank was not stable but didn't leak as installed. Though I should say I've installed hundreds over the years in my job as appartment maintenance Interesting flush cable design and the flush works well from what I can see. Height is sold Molded seat could use a complete reworking as the plug set is cool. The seat was never able to be made secure. But works fine as is. We will see how time goes. Update, it's been a great investment though I have had to put a small step stool for those height challenged.

This is great for tall people and those with mobility issues
This toilet is 20 inches tall. It is great for tall people. We got it for my 90 year old mother who has problems walking and standing up from a seated position. She can very easily lean a little and be seated on it. She has no problem standing from the seat. It has two position flushing, both do a good job moving things out the bowl. It may be too tall for small children to use without a stepping stool.

Great customer support
First, there is not much to add that has not already been stated about this high toilet. I ordered this unit for its height and based on the number of good reviews. The two packages arrived with only minor surface damage to the boxes. The bowl box was listed at approximately 70 lbs. and the UPS driver used a dolly to transport the boxes to my garage. Both items were well packaged and no damage whatsoever inside the boxes. I unpacked both boxes and inspected to ensure all parts and items were there before notifying my plumber. Everything was well packaged and organized. All parts included. I did call support to ensure the toilet seat I received was correct and not missing the mount. The artwork depicted a black mount; mine was white and already installed in the white seat bracket. I had to remove the bracket of course before installing. My bad. Customer support is amazing. A real live person answered immediately and was very polite, patient, and helpful. I called back later with another question. Same thing! Phone call was answered on the first or second ring. Great Support which again is why I have taken the time to write this review. The bowl and tank appear to be of normal quality with no flaws that I could detect. I especially like the pull-up handle for low water volume flush and push down the handle for normal flush. Very Logical for normal flushing. According to my plumber, less likely to cause confusion with guest clogging the toilet. Another design feature I like is there is no chain inside the tank to raise the flapper when flushing. I am still not clear how this mechanism works. But itโs great with very little pressure required to flush. While we have only used this unit for a few days now, we are very pleased with the unit and the excellent customer support.

This is the ultimate thrown. It is taller than any other toilet out there. Dual flush and water saver but still performs well. I've punished this thing and it works well. The odd time I've plugged it, it clears very easily compared to other toilets. Easy to assemble, tank doesn't sweat and seat pulls right off to make cleaning a breeze. It's made way better than other brands. You won't regret it. My entire bathroom fixtures and bars came from amazon.

Had been searching for a 'taller' toilet for sometime but was unable to locate one in Western Canada. Then decided to bite the bullet and order online. Was not disappointed this unit while not cheap is excellent quality and at 6ft 4in with a dodgy leg that makes toilet trips so much easier. Really glad the company changed to a metal flush handle as plastic would have been a disservice. Very happy with this purchase. Word of caution - ships as two boxes but only one tracking number - don't panc should they not both arrive at the same time ๐

Ordered this toilet for my mother who had back problems. Item arrived quickly in two separate boxes, the box with the bowl was broken in pieces. Emailed Convenient Height and received a response back within the hour from the owner Eddie, who immediately ordered another bowl and it arrived in perfect condition. Fantastic customer service! Thank you Eddie. The toilet itself is great, my mother loves the tall height and the flushing action is wonderful. Would highly recommend and is perfect for people even without back or health issues.

I'm located in western Canada and was impressed at how quickly this product was shipped and ultimately received. It arrived several days before the expected date. Packaging seemed very good and given its size, weight and being fragile, to make it from the eastern US to western Canada intact was great. There was only one small hole in the side of the box containing the bowl, but given how well it was protected, the product was unaffected. It was in heavy-duty boxes with Styrofoam molded to the shape of the toilet components. Of the two complaints other customers have mentioned, I can say my product was received with a chromed, plastic flush handle. It seems sturdy and I have no concerns. As for the seat, I did not use the one that came with the toilet. Before I even received this, I had already decided on a different product. The elongated Bemis seat I installed does seem to hang over the front of the bowl further than expected, but I don't know if this is how the seat was manufactured or if the bowl doesn't extend forward quite as far as industry standard. In either event, this is of no concern to me. It doesnโt adversely affect the appearance a great deal, if at all. Functionally, it makes it easier to grab and raise the seat. The only negative comment I can leave relates to the glazing. There was a small area on one side where it doesn't seem to have been evenly applied. Given where the toilet is installed, this will never be visible anyway and really requires close inspection to notice. More visible is the glazing around the top of the tank where the tank and tank cover meet. Since the cover doesn't overhang the tank, there is a small area along the top front of the tank that isn't the bright white like the rest of the toilet. Again, not overly noticeable but once spotted, always seems to attract my attention. In a very expensive, high-end bathroom, some customers may not find this acceptable. Again, not that noticeable so it isn't an issue for us. The toilet was actually purchased for my elderly mother and she is thrilled with it. Cleaning is so much easier and more effective than with the riser she had on the previous toilet. It flushes very well, even the plumber that installed it was impressed. Once this was installed, my mom no longer required the arms on either side of the toilet (the style that clip into a bracket that bolts under the toilet seat). I had considered reinstalling them anyway, but since the toilet is so high, these will not work. The arms that extend down and rest on the floor (even though adjustable) do not extend far enough and will not work with the toilet. If this is important, either a wall mounted or other style of assist bar will be necessary. This is just a pre-purchase consideration. As far as fit and function, this is a great product. The only reason I rated it 4/5 stars was the glazing. Aside from those minor imperfections, I have no concerns about recommending the product or seller to other customers.

The unit came quickly without damage. Assembly of flush valve etc needed for tank portion. Not difficult. The result is an extremely tall toilet that works well for the disabled to get up from. I am 6โ4โ. Obviously too tall for the 5โ person
