I use them to drop some essential oils on and stash in places for a fresh smell. They are great. My daughter puts lavender on hers and puts it in her pillow case for a good nice rest. They are good quality and a great price for what you get.

Maybe it's the feel of the wool or the tiny critter size, but our cats love these and play soccer with them all over the house. The pack has enough to keep the party going for awhile until we get out the grabber to retrieve the strays from under the stove. I was apprehensive about the small size of these, but it turns out that's a feature rather than a bug as far as our little killers seem to feel.

My cats have a habit of attempting to steal my dryer balls and my mom got some a few little wool balls for Christmas. I grab these for some other cat mamas and my cats stole most of the bag. The kittens carry them around in their mouths and absolutely adore them.
