This was a fun experiment. There are a few considerations to consider before buying these baskets. As you can see, in the first picture, if one plant fails it leaves a pretty good size hole. Any plants that you consider using need to be able to fill out a pretty large area. I would consider using 2 or 3 seedlings instead next time. I took a very long time (these pictures were taken August 9, 2019) to achieve the fullness in the pictures. Also, These planters are heavier than I realized. I am 68 and had to have a sturdy young man hang them for me. One other thing, I put a water well in the center of each planter to assist with keeping them moist. It is very dry here, and I feel that the wells help me to keep the planters moist. I have these on swivel hooks so I can turn them. I would not hang these without them.If you are curious, the petunias are Evening Scentsation and Horizon yellow. The other basket has my morning glory experiment (no flowers because the soil is too rich).

Bought these for lipstick plants. These are sturdy and I like the side panels which makes it easier to check on the need for watering. Only thing is you can't remove the chain to plant a large hanging plant. Other than that,these are great!

Attractive but didn't hold up. Plastic cracked where connected to the hanging chain.

Huge, ugly, heavy and ineffective. Basically worthless to me.

I left them out during the winter, and one of them cracked. The others are fine. I've received a lot of compliments.
