We enjoy each and every one
My six year old daughter absolutely loves these Barbie books. Intriguing plots, well written and interesting photos. Although their reading level is probably targeted at 10-12 year olds, they truly motivate her to improve her reading skills. We have read several of these stories and are sorry they are out of print.

THE WORST BOOK YOU COULD EVER PURCHASE FOR YOUR CHILD
I started reading this story to my 5 1/2 year old daughter that adores ballet at bedtime the other night and just a couple of pages in to the book I was horrified! I tried to read on and left out and changed parts off the cuff as I was reading, but once I finished chapter 1, we put that book down and I will never finish reading it. It is our first Barbie book published by Grolier Books and you can be certain I won't be purchasing any others if this is the kind of garbage they support for young impressionable children. Please see the photo I have attached to this review. (Sorry I could not get it to rotate properly)

The other girls in her ballet class are super skinny. Ugh
This book is awful. It talks about one little ballerina being chubby and worrying about it. The other girls in her ballet class are super skinny. Ugh! Worrying about body image at such a young age!!!! The pics are of all theses unrealisticly thin little girls....so disappointed. Little girls should not be worried about such things.

Nice books for smart girls
Someone would not probably expect a solid content from a Barbie book but this does not go with these books at all: each one of them tells an interesting story -there are mystery stories, fairy stories, friendship stories,... But all of them enhancing some positive moral values. These books are far to be corny; apart of telling a good story, each one contains moral -and a good one -.
