It's super cheap and you get what you pay for. This is not an exact replacement. The screen is slightly -but noticeably- thicker when you set it next to the original.One effect of this is that the home button will not click. The button sits farther from its backing shield/plate, so when you push down it doesn't get squeezed against anything to make the button press register. I 'fixed' this by adding 4 layers of painters tape to the backing shield.It is well packaged and the included tools are much better quality than I was expecting.Minor issues:The mount point for the front facing camera is misaligned. It works ok, but the camera is very visibly not centered in the hole. The camera sits snug in the mount and I couldn't see any way to adjust it without breaking the mount off.The screen has a harsh blue tint.The screen sticks out a little more because of its increased thickness. It's not really noticable if it's in a case of any sort. Without one, there's a bit of a sharp edge.The exterior bottom screws that hold the screen in place don't actually screw into anything substantial on the screen. They rotate freely. They are acting more as pins than screws. I put a little loctite on them to glue them in place so they don't fall out.The wet wipe included to clean the screen before applying the screen protector has lotion or soap or something in it that leaves a cloudy film on the screen as it dries.

This screen works well. It's a bit tedious to install as they all are but its certainly doable, especially if you are somewhat careful. Tools are included. YouTube a couple of videos in advance. The screen itself is thicker than the original apple screen. It does not impact use in an otterbox defender case with screen protector. Actually, it probably fits my case better now since it was a bit loose before and makes better contact with the screen protector now. The instructions lack detail, especially regarding the install of the new screen. There were a couple of peel off surface protectors inside the new screen which need to be removed before install. Also, you have to remove the camera and home button from the old screen and transfer them to the new screen, which adds to the difficulty. Again, not impossible. It just take a bit more time. Peeling off the home button is the most delicate part. You have to be careful not to tear the rubber by pushing up too hard with your finger. If the connector cables (ribbons) at the top seem to be in the wrong order, they might be, and you need to reorder them. Just pull one to the side and slide the right one in. Overall this is a good price for a quick 1-hour fix. My phone had water damage to the screen after I spilled something on it while it was out of its protective case and this was a good fix.

You can draw a facsimile of the device onto the paper and place the screws/parts in their proper locations and orientations. This will make reassembly faster and help ensure you put the screws back into their original locations.Before ordering, I looked at many offers. I was skeptical of the quality and concerned that the replacement procedure would be too difficult. I ultimately selected this kit (Mr Repair Part, ASIN: B07JH5H7BZ, Item model number: MA-I6X-100). I am satisfied with the quality of the part and the kit's included tools and instructions provided the support I needed to complete the replacement.Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase.

I dropped my iphone 6 a few days ago and cracked the screen. My options were $200 phone insurance claim deductible, $100 or so at a phone repair shop, or roughly $27 with tax for this screen off Amazon. Being as I lean more to being a do it yourself kind of guy, I ordered the screen. All the tools necessary to do the job come with the screen with the exception of a heat gun or hair dryer, and a utility knife blade. Got the tips on the need and use of those from a video on youtube. Look for a video that is about 22 min in length on replacing the screen of an iphone 6. It's an in depth video on how to do the job. It isn't the easiest thing to do but with the help of the video it is definitely doable..All in all I recommend getting this screen as a way to save money. Just take your time and do it right..

Quality was great. Packaged just like you got something from Apple. Everything needed was included. I gave five stars on Easy to Install, but understand there are a lot of steps, tedious, and time consuming. Really have to pay attention and keep track of all the parts and pieces as you remove and reassemble. This would be true of any vendor who supplies a similar product though. Not difficult, just need to take it slow and pay attention to detail. Saved me from having to buy a new phone, or spend a lot more at the Apple Store.

Directions were very helpful and made the replacement relatively easy. The only problem I encountered was that one of the bottom two screws, on the exterior below the home button, didn’t thread into the replacement screen tab. After investigating why it wasn’t threading in, I discovered that the hole on the tab was too large (the other screw was a perfect fit). I ended up just applying some glue to hold the other screw in the hole.
