Great chin up bar, easy to assemble. Solid build quality

I love the different grips and how well it fits on the door (without destroying the frame, like some bars I have had before). However, the safety clip could be sturdier, I have had my bar for less than 3 months and been using it regularly for the past 6 weeks and my safety clip broke (I am under 180lbs and the bar supports a max of 300lbs). The safety clip should definitely be sturdier and ideally more than one safety clip should be shipped with the bar. Now I am on a quest to replace the clip.Update: the company's website was not functioning right but I sent an e-mail to the help e-mail from the parent company and right away they offered to send me a replacement for the part and I received it a couple of days later. Professional and friendly customer service. I would not hesitate to buy again.

This thing works well as advertised. I have the motivation to do pull up almost everyday now. It is compact, lightweight and very easy to put on and take off the door. It also seems to hold up my weight very well (170 lbs) and doesn't flex or bend. I have been using this for more than 10 times now and it still hasn't cause any damage nor leave any scuff marks on my door frame at all. I'm very satisfied with this pull up bar.

I ordered this a few days ago. It's a good product as the other reviews suggest.The only problem was that the safety clip was missing and some of the hand grips were deformed. Looked like it was used or it had some manufacturing problems. I tried to contact the seller directly, but I couldn't find the links on Amazon.

It's very sturdy and well built, was easy to set up, but once I had it all set up and got ready to hang it in my doorway I found that my door frames aren't the right type so I'm unable to hang it. Also important to note that this isn't the kind of chin up bar that you can have in your doorway at all times, if it's hung then you won't be able to close whatever door is there. It's definitely a well built item and I can use it in other ways but it is a disappointment that it doesn't fit my frame type. Make sure to check that you have a really thick door frame before buying.

- Easy to assemble in few minutes- Good price- Looks great- Doesnt hurt your door frame- Sturdy- Comes with a safety clip for the door for your safetyNow I realize im awful at pull ups atm but:I gave 4 stars for this simply because the wide grip are kinda far and I wish there was pads where there is none for "standard" grip pull ups and also pads for "super close" chin ups...so technically this bar should have material for your hands all over the bar so you can just put your hands wherever you want...I was going to buy elite version which im sure is way better for the wide grip pull ups but I didnt buy it because I saw on youtube a review where the bars just bends down because its so large and I dont like that.

Pretty sturdy and easy to assemble. I spent 2 whole days searching for the best doorway pull up bar and so far I was not disappointed with this one.Many people complained about the pads wearing off too quickly, but I put cloth between the pads and the door frame just to protect the pads from getting damaged and it works great.I can't find any cons after using the product for several weeks. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good pull up bar.

Sturdy and comfortable. Fits my narrow apartment doorway well. The rubber grips have pulled some of the cheap, lazily applied latex paint off my door frame, but whatever. The hand grips are comfortable but I would have preferred something rubbery that held to the bars better.

Poor installation hardware made the product unusable. The included bolts stripped instantly with the provided key. Unable to continue assembly, and unable to dissemble for return. Luckily Amazon did me a favour and refunded the purchase anyway. This seems to be a common problem with pull up bars on Amazon. I thought I picked one of the better ones. Can not recommend this product or company.

I tried assembling this on a hardwood floor with my weight on it to keep the two sides flush. I also tried assembling it on the doorframe and tightening the screws there. I tried a few different ways, even keeping the screws loose so it would fit on the door frame and stay.The reality is, no matter what I did, it wouldn't stay on the door frame well. Yes, my wood frame is probably thinner in a condo than a house, but ultimately I didn't feel comfortable enough doing consecutive pull-ups without it slipping off. I even used the clip, but that moves after a time. However, it wasn't for me, but for my father-in-law to stretch his cold shoulder.Ultimately, the build quality was very good and lots of grab spots on this pull-up bar. It's a good item, that I might have assembled incorrectly (but I assemble a hell of a lot of things, I can't think of what to do differently).

I was really surprised by the build quality of this. Its really solid/sturdy and the rubber contacts are durable yet soft enough to not cause damage. Similar scenario with the foam grips, I didn't think i would like them as i am used to solid steal, however their firm and I think they will last.Putting it together was pretty quick and strait forward and it comes on and off the door frame effortlessly as it should.All round really happy with it.One thing worth taking note of is that it does sit quite a bit below the top of the door frame, so you need to duck to walk under it and being only 5' 8" myself, my knees near touch the ground when doing pull ups.

After using it for a few times, the o-ring broke. I want to return the item but the company wants to charge me over $21 for shipping (almost 50% of the price of the product). So, I have no choice but to keep it.

I have it installed and it works fine. My only gripe is that during assembly, instructions say to lock the two bars together as one end has and indent and the other is supposed to have a notch that locks them together. Unfortunately this wasn't the case with mine. The bars did not lock together. I slid the bars together and everything is held together by all the handlebars bolted together. So far so good it feels strong enough but it's nagging at me that it was never assembled properly.

De materiales sólidos, adecuado para mi peso (63 kg) se dobla un poco con alguien de 90 kg (dice que aguanta 20 kg mas que esto... Pero no planeo comprobarlo). Tambien el marco de mi puerta es muy delgado asi que le adapte algo mas resistente y quedo perfecto.

Great fit for smaller doors. Well-built and heavier that expected, but in a good way. Use it every day.Only con...The rubber ends that rest against the door frame did remove some paint but placing a piece of the foam from the packaging seems to have prevented further damage.

I don't use this to actually do pull-ups, I use it do stretch my back so I do hang down on it, and I weigh 270 lbs.Very solid, great purchase, helps decompress my spine nicely.
