I want real leather that our ancestors used for subsistence and survival, not that plastic artificial vegan stuff making the rounds. This did not disappoint. It is a nice thick dyed and embossed piece of leather. Credit card slots within gave it high marks for me. Fit and finish is good with tight stitching around the borders.

So we had to get something a little more masculine for my husband’s passport as he wasn’t having the tropical one that I bought:) This passport cover was just what he was looking for. It fits the passport well and appears to be durable. He’s pleased with this selection

I have used money belts in the past, and don't find them easy to access. So I was looking for a different solution. I got tired of folding up my money belt and stashing it in my front pocket.I'm a man and when I travel I almost always wear technical pants with at least one front pocket with a zipper. I put the wallet with my passport, cards, and paper money in a front zippered pocket and don't worry about pick pockets anymore. This passport wallet holds my passport, and behind that my vaccination card. I find I usually must remove my passport from the wallet to present to whomever, but that's not a problem. The wallet also holds my credit card, ATM card, and medical insurance card, with room left over. On the left side, underneath card storage, is where I stash my euros, though they have to be folded once to fit, as they are longer than the passport.Like other reviewers, the fabric backing under the cards in this wallet came undone for me, which is a design flaw. But it didn't affect the operation of the wallet at all (the card slots have additional backing underneath each), so it still gets 5 stars. Plus, I got the natural leather cover, which looks terrific. Even without a zippered pocket, this cover would be hard to pickpocket out of a front pocket.I just used this wallet for two months in Greece and Spain, and it was perfect for me.
