I wanted a sturdy, easy to use phone mount for my bike and this one is perfect. It's all aluminum (zero plastic) and built very well. The screw-type mechanism lets me firmly fasten the phone into the mount so I have no fear it will come loose. Even in a recent bike accident, my phone stayed in the holder!!!! It does not block any of the buttons on my phone, and also allows me to have a charger cable plugged into the phone when riding (my ebike battery has a USB charge port, so I can keep my phone charged from the bike battery.) I do not use a case with my phone, so it fits very nicely in the little cradle. Adding the thickness of a case could change how well it fits. I am not sure. Overall, though, I highly recommend this. Easy to mount. Easy to use. Very sturdy. Also decent looking.

I thought this came with both, the shorter and longer mounts, I was wrong. It only comes with the longer mount. Seems to function as it should, well-made, I just ordered the wrong one.

Samsung note 9 on my XR650L and while i was 90% that in of itself would be enough but i used a rubber band just to be sure. the box showed up from the delivery guy and i had this mounted up and adjusted in about 10 mins, comes with a couple of 3m rubber pad w/ sticky back for the "prongs" to increase grip and deal with the different curvatures of various phones, putting those on actually took the longest, the plate has a 360 degree rotation with a ratchet type lock and a bhcs that holds it in position. the clamp uses a keyed bhcs that requires a special allen key to tighten or loosen. nothing that special but also not something that a thief is just going to have in their tool kit...that said i'm not sure i'm worried about my $15 mount getting stolen. anyways, mounted it up, went on a 10 mile ride up to my local dirt roads and mountain trails, did about 15 miles of forest service roads and about 10 miles of single track with large rocks, roots and rocks, the mount stayed solid and my phone stable. as i said at the start i'm pretty sure my phone would have stayed secured without the use of the wifes hairtie but i'm still going to use some sort of band just to be on the safe side. i would like the prongs to be a bit longer as if the back of your phone case isn't flat the phone will sit up in the mount and while it's ok and obviously works it just makes me a bit nervous seeing a gap between my phone and the mount... i think the back of the case and it's design is more important than thickness here, there seemed to be more than enough adjustment to accommodate my note 9 and my UAG case. regardless, this mount is 1/5 the cost of the ram mount,looks great on my bike and so far so good in function, if it was going to shake loose it would have happened on some of the drops i hit earlier today, so cruising on the roads it should be more than secure.

I have 3 different phone mounts for mountain biking. Was still searching for a better one, so bought 2 of these... and due to how impressed I was with this product I was compelled to author a review. I have an iPhone Xs Max with the Apple brand leather case. This mount is near perfect. The clamp mechanism uses a screw to tighten the grip on the phone. No clumsy spring loaded clamp mechanism and rubber bands necessary which is the beauty of this design. The entire mount is aluminum rather than a blend of metal and plastic or all plastic that are often used in other products. Due to this, the mount is sturdy. And while it only grips the lower half of the large phone with its prongs, that is all that it needs. The phone is very secure. The prongs that grip the case are long enough for my phone/case combo but if you have a thicker case you may have issues as prongs may be shorter than the thickness of your case. Suggestions / Areas for improvement: (1) a second model offering longer prongs, (2) stop using the “security” Allen heads, use the standard (3) offer additional colors, (4) engineer a softer nylon washer for main Allen head screw mount that secures the holder to the bar mount.

Nice quality, all aluminum, zero plastic, flawless anodized finish, simple installation (install one hex screw to hold to the bar and tighten another that holds the phone mount to the bar mount). Comes with 2 sets of plastic bar clamp inserts for different sized bars. Grips the phone and the handlebar well, very secure. After I installed the unit I took a quick 5 mile ride over some pretty good bumps and curbs and the phone held solid. The one item missing is a rubber coating on the metal claws that hold the phone in place. If I didn’t have a thin plastic case on my phone, I’d be concerned about those claws scratching the phone finish. That’s not an issue for me so I gave the case 5 stars but if you don’t have a thin case on your phone this phone mount could be rated 4 stars. Hope that helps!

Sturdy phone bike mount for my device. Stays in place and holds up well. Also comes with a rubber to wrap on the corner of my phone to keep it on more securely.

So, this is actually a pretty good little unit. It has a nice, aluminum frame and comes with fitment adapters for different sized handlebars. As long as you use the rubber band retainer with it, it holds my phone in place even at 80+ mph on a V-twin (lots of vibration). The only thing I don't like is the thumb screw adjustment on the frame. It doesn't hold tight and will loosen up after about 30-45 minutes of riding. It also makes it easy to overtighten the frame onto your phone (possibly resulting in a cracked screen). But as long as you use the rubber band retainer it stays in place and you don't have to over tighten the thumb screw adjuster. That is the other reason I gave lower ratings on "easy to install" because it is actually not that convenient to have to use the rubber band and it makes it hard to get your finger onto the back to open up my android phone.

Works as it should very stable and strong. I have no fear my phone will come loose and fall while riding my motorcycle.

This is a rock-solid mount have had it for over 1 year now with no issues. Holds a Samsung S24 Ultra, no vibrations unlike the plastic holders you get, having all metal connectors makes it very sturdy

I put this on an 07 Boulevard M50. It was exactly as described. All metal, excellent fit and finish. The spacer provided fit my bars perfectly. It's super solid and grips my phone in its case. It came with one of those rubber web/mesh things that also holds the phone in place. I doubt I'll use it, though ... the group is very solid. Excellent buy. 👍
