My husband’s hands get cold while watching tv so I purchased this for him and he loves it. It’s easy to heat in the microwave and the insert should not be removed. The zipper is mostly plastic and isn’t affected by the microwave.

It's a nice idea. It would be great if you could put it in the microwave inside the cover but the cover has a metal zipper. Once the insert is heated in the microwave it is very hot to handle and put inside the cover. I wouldn't recommend it.

My mother has chronically cold hands that keep her up when she tries to sleep. I purchased this for her as a gift, and she uses it daily. She loves this product.

The item is small and the picture doesn’t accurately reflect the product. Additionally the heating pad has no border for you to touch it and the person I gave it to is 88. No good safety.

My hubby uses this to relieve the pain in his hand. Works great!
