The chest is ideal for storing my throws & is a great side table for my drink it looks good size is just right for my needs good value, ok it’s not a solid oak antique but I didn’t expect it to be, it arrived early well packed really good

Arrived broken and poor quality.
It's broken. The bottom has a huge crack all the way through the middle. It has split into 2 pieces.Very poor quality. Screw holes do not match. One of the screw holes is too big for the screw so it just falls out!The lid doesn't sit properly.One of the screw heads fell off when I was trying to put the trunk together.It's not very strong at all so no good for storage.Delivery took long considering it's a UK based company. For the price of the item it should really arrive within 2 days.Wouldn't recommend DO NOT BUY!

Great looking box. Does the job of housing books. Not solid thick wood only ply wood.

Thought the box was empty!!
The chest arrived already assembled. It looks a really sturdy chest in the pictures and for the price I expected it to be ! The parcel felt so light that I thought the box was empty.The chest looks ok but feels flimsy. But it has the look of an old chest but it’s not a robust item. Expensive for what it is.
