Beautiful knife
I just started baking Sourdough Bread and didn’t have a long enough bread knife.Knowing little about knives,I took a chance on this one. It’s beautifully boxed, has great weight to it and feels nice in your hand, and slices a crispy Sourdough crust wonderfully. Now my bread not only tastes good but it’s beautifully cut.

Great Bread knife
the wife has gotten hooked on baking bread--mostly sour dough. We didn't have a good knife for slicing bread so I ordered 2 of this knife--one for each home. They are nice looking, have good balance in your hand, and are sharp as heck so they slice bread very nicely. Descent price too.

Great knife
Slices right through are fresh bread. The knife looks great and is super sharp.

Wish We'd Bought This Sooner
We bake our own bread. We generally slice the loaves and store them in the freezer ready for use. We had an old bread knife which was practically blunt, and made a mess of the slicing. At the same time that we bought a cutting guide, we also bought this knife. Talk about night-and-day. This is a sturdily constructed knife which is honed to razor sharpness. It has been in use for many months, and still sliced bread like it was butter.

As good as one could hope for from an internet purchase.
I normally wouldn't buy something as personal as a knife without being able to see it and feel it, but given the current circumstances, purchased this 10" bread knife. The packaging is wonderful, almost Apple-like in a box where the flap to open it is magnetic; it's nice enough to keep the knife in it rather than going on my magnetic wall strip. The first impression after opening is that I hadn't truly thought out how long a 10" blade is, it's as long as from my elbow to my fingertips almost once you factor in the handle. I probably could have done with an 8" version. The grip is well made and finished really well so it's as beautiful as one would hope. It has a nice balancing point at the top of the handle and I have no complaints.

This Knife Delivers as it Promises
Before choosing this particular knife, I did much internet research on expert opinions of knives. Unfortunately, I could not find any mention of this knife maker. Not being aware of this manufacturer, I was hesitant to buy it, but I decided to trust the description and the product definitely measured up to my hopes and expectations. The packaging of this product is better than expected. Holding the box created a first impression of a company that cares, believes and invests in its product. The knife itself is sturdy, well built and sharp right out of the box. There is a good weight and well balanced feel to the handle and steel combination.I have used it a few times and it seems to keep its edge and does not need constant sharpening which is good because it's serrated blade would make sharpening difficult. This is one of the most satisfying blind purchases I have ever made.

Extremely sharp
Excellent knife - so sharp I've already cut myself twice on it.

It's big.
And hefty. I like it. My wife started making sour dough bread- regularly. And our plain edge knives didn't cut it. Crust was hard, real hard but the bread is wonderful. This knife worked very well. Feels nice in the hand and the fit and finish is very good. And sharp. The wide serrations will make it easy to sharpen when the time comes. The boxes (yes, plural) it came in were... interesting. As a wedding gift, that alone will garner some " oh, you shouldn't have" comments :)!
