I've had a set of stone nail files for many years but recently my pink file got nail polish on it and doesn't work as well as it did. That's why I ordered these. I like them but they are about 3/8 inch square and a bit more uncomfortable to use than my previous pink stone which was shaped more like a regular nail file. The pink stone file is equivalent to the coarsest regular files.In my set, I also have a blue stone which is a medium and a yellow that is very fine for finishing. They last forever as long as you don't drop and break them (or spill nail polish on them). Although the pink stones I purchased from Amazon do the job, I wish that it had been a set since I use the finer stones for finishing. By the way, I use these stones on my natural nails. The pink stones, I think, would work quite well on acrylic nails.

This is very helpful in cleaning your cuticle. I'm not good at using the cuticle trimmer and when I do, my cuticles end up looking like a big mess in a day or two. I just use this to push and sand down all the cuticles and just trim the bulky part and my nail looks GREAT! If you're having trouble cleaning up your cuticles w/cuticle trimmer alone, i'd strongly recommend this!!

Useless product. It has a very smooth feel, hardly any grit. What's the point of this product? A nail file would do better. There's nothing "stone" about it. Don't waste your money.

I had one of these for years (maybe 25 years?). I mistakenly washed and dried it in my pants pocket. The cat later helped it fall off the kitchen counter and it broke. I was so happy to find that they are still available, and now I have 5, one for each room! They are as good as my original one and that's good enough for me.

Looks great! I have not used them yet but they have a really good shape to them. I hope they do not break but you can just super glue them back together I love these for getting the dead skin from around my toe nails. They do not even hurt!

They sent me blue ones, not pink (as is pictured), but they're really very good and versitile. You can use them on calluses and nails - and I even keep one of them in my kitchen to sharpen my carbon knives, because they act as whetstones. Great value for the price.
